"They were excellent - and, this amounts to the quickest response and turnaround in my history with an Angieslist provider!  I called Vicente earlier today to get an estimate about trimming a large Persimmon tree in the backyard.  The tree had been poorly trimmed by the previous home owner, and it was a mess.  He stated that his team was about 20 miles away, but potentially could come and take a look / do the job, this afternoon.  Vicente asked me to send text him pictures of the tree so that he could get a sense of the job, and then he gave me a "ball park" figure over the phone.  Sure enough, 3 hours later his 2-person team arrived, trimmed the tree and cleaned up, all within a 2-hour period.  The  team did a great job and the tree looks great - very professional job.  The charge was exactly what Vicente had ball parked.  Vicente and his team were thoroughly professional from start to finish.  So, if they were so prompt, I figured it had to compete the review the same day as well!

"I purchased this work as one of an Angie's List Big Deal ($149 for $300 of work).  Luis Lara came to our house to give us an estimate for the job which was $850 (less the $300 credit to make it $550 due on completion).  It seems like a fair price given that it took four men four hours each plus the equipment and expertise.  Sixteen man hours calculates out to $53 per hour.  Both Luis at the estimate visit and the crew on the work day were professional and thorough.  We are quite happy with Lara Concrete.

The work was originally scheduled for March 6 but the crew was held up on another job so delayed ours for two days - not a problem for us.  The crew of four men arrived promptly at 8:00 and finished the work by noon.  They did an exceptional job with concrete saws and jack hammers.  They removed all the debris and left the site ready for the next phase.  One thing they did not do was to wipe clean the splatter from the side of the house, windows and door next to where the cuts were made."
