"Stephen did an excellent job fixing my gate. He was able to solve the problems that 3 other contractors couldn’t and exceeded my expectations. He helped me put a temporary gate to prevent my dogs from getting out while he welded, fabricated and built the new gate. He is very knowledgeable and efficient and keen to detail. His craftsmanship is impeccable and I am very happy with my new sturdy gate. I will definitely use him in the future for upcoming projects. Stephen offers a very good service at an affordable price I am very happy with his work and recommend that you call him for any welding or any handyman service for that matter."

Grill Assembly questions, answered by experts

Safety steps include proper vent installation, connector tightness, and leak testing. A safe environment must be maintained throughout.

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.

You can maneuver your gas grill into place, but you cannot connect the grill to your gas source yourself. All municipalities mandate that a certified plumber carry out this work, so you’ll have to reach out to a plumber or a gas grill installation company in your area. Given how dangerous a gas leak can be, gas lines and connections are highly regulated, so you’ll need a professional’s help and a permit to install a gas grill.

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.
