"We have many area rugs on our stone and hardwood floors. Some are problematic to clean because they are made with wool and a man-made fiber Viscose. We have tried various cleaning techniques. None have worked as well as the shampooing Heaven’s best used. The work was done reasonably quickly, thoroughly, and professionally."

"Alejandro and his sons were awesome. They came out immediately and fixed my fireplace and cleaned it. They were friendly, did great work and gave me a great price for the work done. I will have them come back when I need my chimney cleaned."

"Super impressed with their work! Originally, requested carpets to be cleaned throughout entire house. They came out looking brand new. Because they did such great work, I had them come back and clean/seal tile and counter tops. Customer service was a 6. Quality of work….a 6. I have them on my calendar for next year’s cleaning."

"I had a great experience with Quality Home Cleaners. They were very responsive, provided great client service and delivered an exceptional deep clean. They took care to clean out every nook and cranny. Pet parents know that shedding season can wreak havoc on your home - little pet hairs get everywhere. But when this team was done, all that hair had disappeared and a sparkling clean was in its place. Highly recommend!"

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

No, you should not pressure wash or power wash roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure from these machines is too strong and can damage the shingles by forcing water underneath, loosening their adhesive, and causing them to fall off. A safer and better alternative is soft washing with a pump sprayer. To ensure the job is done safely without causing damage, it is best to hire a local roof cleaner.

Yes, algae-resistant shingles will prevent algae and moss growth, providing double protection for your roof and roof flashing. The copper-infused granules on algae-resistant shingles release copper ions that inhibit plant growth in general, so moss will have a harder time growing on your roof, too. Keep in mind that copper ions flowing off your roof during rainfall can also inhibit plant growth below, so your gardens and grass may be affected.

If you wish to forego painting your shingles but still want to give them a fresh look, a deep cleaning is the first step. Clean off any debris from your roof and gutters, and then power wash your shingles to get grime and algae off. To take things one step further, you might even consider installing new gutters to give your home a bright new look.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams, but the best thing to do is address insulation issues in your attic. If you do decide to remove the snow manually, you should always use a roof rake rather than a shovel. You shouldn’t climb your snowy roof in any circumstance, and roof rake allows you to remove the snow from the ground or a ladder. For the best results, remove snow as soon as possible after it falls.

There are several ways to remove snow from your roof: using a snow rake, salting the roof with calcium chloride, using a rope (cautiously), and using heating cables. It’s important to mention that pretty, fluffy, sparkling snow weighs a great deal, and when physically removing snow from a roof, you should be aware of large snow slabs breaking off. These can weigh hundreds of pounds and are a real danger, so be extremely careful anytime you’re doing this type of work.
