"Genaro “cowboy” Salazar, owner of Explosive City Tile, is a perfectionist and a pleasant personality to work with. I hired Genaro to fix previous a bad ceramic tile installation. So I needed a perfectionist to put everything right. Being a perfectionist is his selling point."

"We couldn’t be happier with the work done by Rene and his team. They installed a new backsplash in our kitchen and the quality exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was outstanding. They were thorough with the cleanup after the job was done, which made the entire experience even better. It’s clear they take great pride in their work snd care about their customers. I recommend R.G. Tile to anyone looking for high-quality tile work and exceptional service."

"Scott was able to get our project done ahead of schedule, about a month early which was awesome. The tile came out great. Scott made my wife happy with the look of the tile, the trim, and the custom built niche.Showed up on time and kept a tidy work area, no complaints on our end."

"We had a leaking shower pan. The Grout Medic came out, looked it over gave us a quote to re-grout and re-seal the shower. We hired them, they came out in 3 days to complete the work. Work was done in just under 3 hours. The repairman was friendly, neat, and thorough. The work was well done and my shower looks great!"

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

No, grout haze will not go away on its own and needs to be removed as soon as possible after installation to preserve the beauty of your new tiles. If left too long, grout haze can leave a permanent film on newly installed tiles, leaving them dull and cloudy.

There are several products you can buy to soften caulk for removal. The most affordable are WD-40, alcohol, and vinegar. Industrial-grade isopropyl alcohol can be used for caulk that won’t budge, but you should hire a professional before using this solution. There are also a variety of products available at your local home improvement store that are made specifically for removing caulk.

You should not use caulk as a direct substitute for grout, but it can be used as a temporary solution to fix minor cracks. Caulk is more flexible and doesn't dry as hard as grout, making it suitable as a supplement or for small repairs. To do this, first remove the old, cracked grout using a grout or rotary saw. Then, apply a matching caulk to fill the cracks, smooth it out, and let it cure. The curing time will vary, so follow the manufacturer's instructions; a full cure can take up to 48 hours.

The white stains you see on your bricks are likely efflorescence, which is salt and lime buildup. To remove efflorescence stains, simply brush them away with a stiff brush. For larger, more stubborn stains, scrub the stains with a water-detergent solution.

Your schedule for deep cleaning will depend on how often you clean regularly and how dirty your home gets. If you clean weekly and keep things tidy, you may only need to deep clean once a year. But if you don’t keep up with regular cleaning or have pets that drag in mud and shed all over the house, you might need deep cleaning two or three times a year.
