H2h DoorsGreat. I called Glen to tell him about our garage door problem on our rental home in Merced. Glen listened to the symptoms and said the problem sounds like your sensors. Glen offered to have our renter attempt the simple fix of alignment and call to cancel the appointment if not needed. By the way Glen answered on my first call. The renter was not able to resolve the door problem. After completion, Glen called me and said it was a fairly quick fix, but it did take some technical experience to align the sensors. He said don't do any extensive work on this door, just ride it out, then look to getting a new one. Since he fixed it pretty quick, he didn't charge his minimal $59 house call.- Allan A.

GARAGE DOOR DOCTORMy garage door wouldn't lower completely because the sensors became misaligned and and I couldn't get them to line up. Garage Doctor came, realigned them very quickly and showed me how to do it myself. No charge! I asked if anything else on the door needed work, and they pointed out that it would be a good idea to replace the worn spring at the top at some point within the next several months. I had them replace it then and there with a 20-25 year spring. They also oiled all the squeaky hinges and showed me how to do it myself if I prefer that to a yearly service. They were very honest, fast, friendly, and professional. Although I did purchase the spring for the door, there was absolutely no pressure on me to do so, and I appreciate that.- Belinda B.

H2h DoorsThis company is AWESOME! My husband has been trying to keep our old, warped roll-up door functional for about 3 years. It finally warped so badly that we were stuck. Time for a new door - OR have a professional repair this one. This company was recommended by a friend at my husband's work. We called, and the owner/operator came out to the house within 30 minutes. He showed my husband where the issues were, and explained that while he COULD fix it, it would cost as much, if not more than, a new installed door. My husband had been given a prior estimate by another company for upwards of 1200.00$ The estimate from H2H was less than 800! We agreed to have the new door job done - and were told it would be done in less than 48 hours. The Installer just left - and we have a gorgeous new QUIET and perfectly functioning garage door! He arrived when he said he would, called my husband to let him know he was enroute, and told us it would take about 90 minutes to complete the job. 92 minutes later, he had loaded the old door into his truck for disposal, and all of the work was complete. This company exudes professionalism and courtesy. I will NEVER call another company when I have any issue with my garage door!!- Vicki P.

Barton Overhead Door IncWe had Barton come out and give us an estimate. The estimator was prompt and courteous. We scheduled the work for about 2 weeks later. The installer came on time and was finished in less than 2 hours, it helped that we don't have a garage full of boxes, just two cars that we moved out beforehand. Mega Power Electric Inc installed a Tesla Powerwall at our home in Novato and did a great job. The Powerwall is in the garage and has been working perfectly for over a year now. We already had our Solar Panels from SunPower and now with the addition of the Powerwall our daily use of PGE grid power is reduced 80%. The owner, called soon after the installation and provided helpful advice on the best settings in the Tesla app to manage the Powerwall. We got a 30% Federal tax credit for the installation and a 16% rebate from PGE. Especially love the Tesla app that shows almost real time directional power flow from the solar panels, Powerwall, and grid. The utility manager, was especially helpful with with arranging and coordinating the PGE SGIP credit refund. the two credits, reduced the out of pocket cost almost 50%.....)
