Paul showed up early, fixed the rails, replaced some wheels and reset the springs to the right tension.  He got everything all back together and up and running quickly.  He also called to let me know how much it would cost before performing the work, which was very appreciated.  All in all I will use them again if I ever need a garage door fixed.

I was referred to Garage Door Doctors by a friend who had used them before and highly recommended them.
The garage was neglected when I purchased the home. I called and spoke with Paul. He was professional, showed up when he promised, and told me the truth about the condition of the garage door and components...the cost to repair the damage was too high vs. buying a new one.
I made the choice to buy a new one and Paul was out within a day to remove and replace it. During the visit he noted the opener itself had some damage and requested I give him permission to disassemble and repair it. For a little more money it was repaired rather than replaced. He even helped re-program the remotes for me :-).
Paul is a pleasure to work with and I recommend using him when the need arises.

My first call was returned in about 2 1/2 hours. They said they would be there in an hour, which was almost two hours. When they arrived they went right to work replacing my broken spring and said it would only take about 20 minutes. I asked the price of the spring and was told he didn't know. I was trying to get an idea of the labor vs materials cost. I just hate to think something that takes 20 minutes costs $185.
They were very knowledgeable and recommended adding some stabilization brackets and replacing the rollers. I wasn't sure, but went ahead with their recommendation.
After spending about $325.00 my garage door is quieter than ever and should last another five or six years. It's currently 10 years old, and I guess $325. is better than replacing the whole door for approximately $750 to $1000.
I would recommend these guys, they were knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, they definitely knew what they were doing.

Highly recommend to anyone in my area for garage door service. Called in the evening the door spring broke and they were there the next day completing service. The door works great and is less noisy than I recall it being since we originally moved in.

My garage door wouldn't lower completely because the sensors became misaligned and and I couldn't get them to line up. Garage Doctor came, realigned them very quickly and showed me how to do it myself. No charge! I asked if anything else on the door needed work, and they pointed out that it would be a good idea to replace the worn spring at the top at some point within the next several months. I had them replace it then and there with a 20-25 year spring. They also oiled all the squeaky hinges and showed me how to do it myself if I prefer that to a yearly service. They were very honest, fast, friendly, and professional. Although I did purchase the spring for the door, there was absolutely no pressure on me to do so, and I appreciate that.
