Small jobs welcome

"When the installers finished I didn't like the placement of one of the down spouts. I discussed my problem with the installers and they went right to work fixing it for me. It looks awesome. The colors blend with the house and I am very happy with the finished project and would use and recommend their service again."

"The owner of the company Jason Taylor spent time in my attic before we contracted with them so he could give me good and correct information. He also participated in the work of shooting in the insulation. He was very hands-on. Donâ t usually expect this attention from the owner/boss Was very pleased."

"David s work was so flawless I could not tell where the damage ended and the repair begin. David repaired a hole on my garage wall and installed a air vent. He matched the color perfectly and the stucco pattern is called Spanish lace was perfect. David was on time and the work was done within an hour and his price was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend David to any of my friends and family and I will call on him again for any future repairs that need to be done on my home."

"They simply did a great job. I had them remove the old insulation, install new batt insulation, and add radiant barrier in my attic. Now my attic and house are a whole lot cooler. It is noticeably cooler in the house. The person who contacted me was Dustin. He was very professional and did a great job explaining things to me and laying out my options. The crew, which included Aldo, Roman, and Aaron were very professional and respectful to the care of our home and performing their job. I would definitely recommend and am willing to rehire them again for possible future projects. Thanks guys."

Eifs Installers questions, answered by experts

Basements are generally required to have windows for your safety. At a minimum, windows should provide an egress in the event of a fire. But basement windows do more than offer a way out; basement windows also offer natural light and ventilation in an area of your home that is otherwise dark and musty.

Yes, egress windows can significantly add value to a home. By making basement and attic areas safer and more livable, they allow you to market these spaces as finished living areas, which increases your property's value. Many homeowners can recover the full installation cost, with some sources citing a return on investment of around 70%. The exact value added depends on your specific home, location, and adherence to local building codes. Beyond financial value, egress windows enhance functionality by adding natural light and comfort. They are also a crucial safety feature, often mandated by building codes to serve as an emergency exit.

Most modern egress windows installed in basements open outward into a window well, although some older homes have in-swing windows. Egress windows, like casement windows used in other parts of the home, such as bedrooms and bathrooms, may open inward, and these windows are often larger than outward-opening windows.

There are a few ways to save money on egress window installation. First, choosing pre-fabricated windows instead of custom windows can help dramatically reduce the overall cost. In addition, skipping window extras, like customized frames or window film, can help save money on the price tag without sacrificing the window itself. You should also shop around to multiple window installers to find the best installation deal without sacrificing the quality of the window.

Yes, you can install a bay window in an existing house. You’ll need to have a structural engineer draw up plans to add the necessary support to your exterior load-bearing walls and a general contractor to make the changes to the framing around the new wall opening. This will cost an average of $3,000. After that work is done, a window installer can set the new bay window in place.
