"There are always businesses that stand out from the rest, and that describes Foothill Painting very well. After seeing their excellent work on a neighbor's home, as well as other positive reviews on Angie's List we contacted them for a complete repainting of our house, including a detached three car garage and some interior walls and trim. From the very first meeting with Kevin, one of the co-owners, we knew we were in good hands. All their crew members are regular employees, not sub-contractors. One painter told us that he has been with Foothill for eleven years. The estimate was detailed and professional. They not only painted... They also did quite a bit of stucco and window glazing repair. The prep work was meticulous. What we appreciated the most was their attitude that they would do whatever it took to make sure we were satisfied. Too bad so many businesses don't understand the value of that! Also, they were very careful when moving things out of the way and the cleanup was great. We're sure that there are some other painters who would have submitted a lower bid but, as always, you really do get what you pay for. "While they were up there cleaning the gutters they told me about the deterioration of all the sealants on the air vents, the chimney and exhaust fans on the roof. They took pictures and showed me and I had them redo all the sealants. I have a feeling that that was a smart way for them to get some more work (most people aren't aware of the damage the Ca sun can do). It was the owner of the company and his son that did all the work and they were clean, pleasant and professional. When the 1st rains came after the work was done I suddenly remembered a small leak we had had in our bathroom and IT WAS NO LONGER THERE!! I was very happy with the work they did and would definitely recommend using them."

"United Builders did an excellent job remodeling our patio. We had a flagstone patio installed about a year and a half ago (with another company), but it wasn't done well and the flagstones were lifting up. We originally were thinking of having the flagstone redone, but Mike gave us the great suggestion of using pavers and extending the length of the patio and we are very satisfied with the final results!
The entire job was done very professionally, and we were impressed with the small details- like cutting the pavers to fit tightly around some pipes. Mike was great in giving us design ideas and really was patient and supportive through the whole process. Also we got a great gas firepit built in the center which looks very nice and makes our patio usable in the evening so overall we will get more use out of it. The crew did a good job cleaning up, and Mike was attentive to all of my questions during and after the project. When it rained and the water heater pilot light went out, the company sent their plumber out again to relight it and reseal the gaps in the newly installed water heater shed. Also when our sprinklers wouldn't turn on after the project was completed he came and figured out the problem (fuse needed to be replaced) and fixed it for us for no additional charge. We definitely will use this company again!
