"We needed an extensive project done for our large yard, including replacing the irrigation system, planting several new trees, weeding, fertilizing, and spreading fir bark mulch. We received 4 bids and chose Humberto because of his knowledge and his willingness to work for time and materials. (He was next to the highest bid). Humberto and his crew did a wonderful job! Our yard could be in Sunset Magazine now! He is very knowledgeable and he and his men work very hard, very long hours. They had to spread a mountain of fir bark, and they actually run with the wheelbarrow from place to place to get as much done as possible. Humberto is the best landscaper/gardener I have ever worked with, and if it were not for the fact that we feel an obligation to our current gardeners, I would want him to take care of our yard on a weekly basis.We will certainly hire him for future projects. "Artificial turf looks good. Some of the plants have died. It's only been five months since the job was completed. All the other items are of fair to poor quality. Concrete areas have to be re-done by another company because it has cracked within days to weeks of it being placed. Concrete splashed on retaining wall which was never removed/cleaned by Andres. Paint on fencing chips away easily. He said he would remove the splashed concrete off the wall but never returned to finish the job. As I stated earlier, I have to pay $3K+ to have the concrete done again. Haven't gone through an entire rain season so still don't know how the drainage system works or not. Would never hire him again."
