"A wonderful experience with a new company. This was our first time with Home Team Electric. Zach answered all my questions about the issue we had and gave us solid advise about what needed to be done and what was not necessary. I would highly recommend them based on the professional integrity of Zach."

"Our meeting with zohar was very good. he was able to propose to us a design that included the new features in our kitchen and to give us a great price for it too.
The supervisor that was assigned to us (reuven) is very nice and know what he is doing.
He supervised the whole job and was at our house on a daily basis making sure it will come out the way we wanted.
the kitchen included the cabinets counter top sink hardware and plumbing. it was completed after 2 weeks and we love it.

"Installed ceiling fan explaining option pertaining to electrical switches which I liked. Installed CFCI switch and replaced existing light fixture. I did supply the ceiling fan, light fixture and CFCI switch which was my choice. He did quote me $150 to $200 and we did get charged the $200. I think I should have clarified in the pricing prior to contract if the CFCI switch would have been included in pricing. Worked diligently for 3 hours and the time frame was 3-4 hrs."

"He arrived right on time, and fixed what I had previously paid another electrician to fix another ones shabby job. So hopefully, this time I was lucky. The price was a little over what I thought it should have been, but since everything is now working it was worth it. Also, the new fan I had bought to be installed was not working out of the box and he had to take it apart to attach a loose wire in order to get it working. So was better than having to take fan back to exchange it. Will definitely call him again if needed"

"The contractor has been a pleasure to work with so far. Danny has been available if I had a question and made sure that everything was good. The crew that removed the acoustic ceiling did an amazing job with removal and painting the ceiling. So far we are pleased with the work.

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

Many ceiling fan-rated electrical boxes tend to be made of metal. However, some electrical boxes may also be made of heavy-duty plastic that is reinforced with metal support structures. It may also have an attachment that connects directly to a ceiling joist. If you are ever ensure, consult with a licensed professional to get their insight on best practices and whether the installation is a safe one.

The more surface area that a ceiling fan blade has, the more effective it will be at producing airflow. Therefore, a longer ceiling fan blade is the better option if you’re looking for more wind. However, a longer blade will consume more energy than a shorter blade.

Most ceiling fans have a lifespan of anywhere from five to 15 years or 10 years on average. Just how long your ceiling fan lasts depends on the quality of the parts, how much it’s used, and how well you maintain it. A fan with a weak motor that runs on the medium setting nonstop is likely to have a shorter lifespan compared to a fan with a powerful motor that runs on the slowest setting for air circulation.

In short, no. You can use the square footage range chart in this article to determine the right size ceiling fan for both indoor and outdoor spaces. However, weather elements can damage types of ceiling fans that aren't designed for outdoor use, so your ceiling fan should be weather-resistant if you plan to install it outside.

The direction your ceiling fan spins helps create comfortable airflow in your home and can also help cut down on energy costs.

During summer, your ceiling fan should spin counterclockwise. This will push cooler air downward in a column and help lower your room’s air temperature. In the winter, set your ceiling fan to spin clockwise and at the lowest speed setting. This will pull cool air upwards, displacing the warm air that pools towards the top of your ceiling and bringing it down towards the floor.
