"Armando removed lath and plaster walls in our bedroom, insulated, dry walled, applied texture, and painted. He did a fantastic job! Armando is a calm, kind person and very easy to work with. He arrives when he says he will and works hard all day. We will call him again."

"Siki and Nate did a great job in my garage. Not only did they help me get rid of a lot of clutter and garbage, but they hauled it all away, had great ideas of how to organize and declutter the space, and helped me get it all done in two days. I think without their help it probably would’ve taken us another six months at least to accomplish what we did in the two days. I am so happy, sometimes now I just go into my garage and stand there and look around in amazement. It was totally worth it for us. Our garage had become a dumping ground and overall just needed an overhaul. Siki and Nate really helped make this happen. They were the perfect combination of practicality and creative workmanship, plus great guys who were very easy to work with. They measured everything and ordered all the necessary, organizing equipment and then installed it all. I would highly recommend them."

"It went really well. Del Conte and his crew works quickly and carefully. He installed beautiful ceramic tiles in the kitchen and the laundry area, added ceramic counter space and painted the various areas. He also worked on an in-law unit, and installed a jacuzzi. All the work was performed quickly and carefully. I would definitely recommend his services."

"We worked with Ali (sales manager) and Tony (project manager), who took the time to design a project that made sense for our property and our budget, made a number of suggestions and recommendations and were never pushy or tried to "sell" us on something. The crew really went above and beyond to provide top quality workmanship and overall we were in very good hands. Highly recommended!"

"Tim and Robert arrived on time and quickly got to work loading up our things from the first stop into their truck after introductions. We had an anxious dog who was a little nervous about the move and they also made sure to ask her name and greet her. After we loaded up the first house we all made our way to the second residence where the bulk of the items were stored in the garage. Tim and Robert came with all of the right supplies and were able to load up 4 dressers, 2 queen beds, many bed frames, and a plethora of boxes and other odd shaped items. They were friendly to everyone they met at each stop and made sure to ask when unsure of what was staying or going. Once at the final stop they swiftly unloaded everything and all furniture and houses remained in one piece and unscathed! We had a great experience with Tim and Robert and will be sure to recommend them to anyone we come into contact with. It really was a pleasure to work with them.

Garage Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

On average, RV garage doors are 12 to 14 feet tall to accommodate the large vehicles. Most RVs are approximately 9.5 feet tall but can be taller due to features such as air conditioners, satellite dishes, and luggage racks

Wood, steel, fiberglass, and aluminum are among the top building materials for a garage. Wood is highly customizable, naturally insulative, and durable in mild climates but can be expensive. Steel is lightweight, low-maintenance, and cost-effective, but it’s susceptible to rust. Fiberglass is low-maintenance and doesn’t shrink or expand in changing temperatures, but it can become brittle and crack from prolonged high winds and sun exposure.

Unlike steel, aluminum isn’t susceptible to rust and is low-maintenance, but its ultra-light weight makes it less durable than some materials, and it’s susceptible to saltwater damage, making it a poor choice for coastal homes.

A carriage house combines garage or storage space with living space, usually in two stories, while a garage generally does not offer any living space. Carriage houses are built with plumbing, insulation, and heating and cooling systems, which are usually features not found in traditional garages. Building codes and insurance requirements greatly differ between the two types of structures, and may make it difficult to convert a garage to a carriage house.

Garage doors are heavy and close under power, so ensuring they're safe should be one of the priorities of a homeowner. Installing at least one sensor is a good start, but it doesn't hurt to have two, especially considering you can install a secondary system for less than $100. Remember that sensors require calibration and simple but regular maintenance checks— installing them is only the first step.

On average, a garage door can last between 15 and 30 years. However, this lifespan is influenced by several factors, including the quality and material of the door, local climate conditions, and how frequently it is used and maintained.

Key factors affecting longevity include:

  • Material: Wooden doors can last 20 to 30 years or more, while steel doors typically last 15 to 20 years. More robust options, like triple-layer steel, can last 25 to 30 years with proper care. The number of layers in a door also contributes to its durability, with each additional layer potentially adding five years to its life.

  • Maintenance: Regular inspections, cleaning, and immediate repairs can significantly extend the life of your garage door.

  • Usage and Climate: Doors in harsh climates or those used very frequently may wear out faster.

  • Components: Individual parts have different lifespans. For example, automatic openers may fail sooner than the door itself without regular maintenance, and garage door springs typically need replacement every 7 to 12 years.

While the door panels are designed to last as long as the door, they should be replaced sooner if they become visibly damaged, impact the door's smooth operation, or create a security risk.
