"We had a wonderful experience using J.A. Wallcovering to install peel and stick wallpaper for our nursery. They scheduled us within a week of us reaching out, were professional, and completed the job very quickly. We had an issue installing peel and stick wallpaper after someone else we originally hired could not complete the job."

"They spot sanded where it was needed, recessed nails on the facia, filled in any cavities and cleaned the trim before any painting took place. They also masked the stucco. They sprayed the eves and painted the facia with a brush. They applied two coats of paint on the entire job. They cleaned up each day. They were efficient and timely. They had me inspect the job before payment and they followed up on each and every item that I requested them to do. The paint job was excellent. I am a satisfied customer, and would absolutely recommend R.M. Painting."

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Accent walls can feel out of place or distracting if not well designed. Accent walls that don’t fit in with a room’s style can feel jarring or overpowering. Some accent wall styles can also feel dated, but fortunately, it’s easier to update a single wall than an entire room.

Yes, you can put wallpaper in a bathroom, but whether it's a good idea depends on several factors. Because bathrooms are high-humidity areas, it's crucial to choose a water-resistant wallpaper, such as one made of vinyl. Proper wall preparation is also critical to ensure the paper adheres well, even after many steamy showers. The wallpaper's placement also affects its longevity; it will hold up better on an accent wall or away from direct water contact, rather than immediately next to a shower. A well-ventilated bathroom will yield the best results.

Because replacing pool tiles requires fully draining your pool, it’s a great opportunity to complete other projects. You may want to replace your pool’s vinyl liner or repair cracks. You might also replace your swimming pool heater or even take on the cost of resurfacing your pool. Resurfacing, although relatively costly, can help prolong the lifespan of your pool.

Putting up new wallpaper tends to take one to two days, depending on the size of the area, whether old paper needs to be removed, and if there is any damage to walls that needs to be smoothed over or fixed.

We don’t recommend wallpapering over older paper. That’s because creating layers of glue can invite bubbling or excess moisture on the wall’s surface. You should also prime your wall before applying wallpaper and smooth the wall as much as you can, and another layer of wallpaper complicates this process.
