"Everything went fine. RJ and Angel were promptly on the job. They explained what they were going to do. During the cleaning process they showed me the progress via their sewer line camera. I am very pleased with the work and appreciated their professionalism."

"I had 2 project with this vendor. Jose & Alex both came to the rescue. 1st was a quote and later water heater install. Then had a old cast iron drain clog that required replacement. They were professional and skilled. I am happy with the service and their fair pricing. Don’t bother shopping around and waste time give them a call directly."

"I bought a coupon offer through Angieslist and almost immediately received an email from the company asking what days I would like the appointment.  They offered me a choice of 3 different appointment days and times.  I chose one by email.  On the day of the appointment, Marty came out to our home.  He checked the temperature at the vents, the wires of the air conditioner, changed the filter, and he cleaned the outside unit with a hose.  Marty was knowledgeable, friendly, and  professional. .At the end, we discovered that I had misunderstood the coupon offer.  I thought it was for maintenance, but it was actually toward a service call for repair.  I explained to them that I had misunderstood the offer and they very kindly honored my coupon for the entire cost of the maintenance, which would have been almost twice as much money.  I feel they went way beyond what was required in accommodating me and I truly appreciate it.  I would definitely use them again and also recommend them to others.

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, continuing to flush a clogged toilet is not likely to break up the clog. Instead, it will continue to put pressure on the clog while filling the bowl with more water, which can potentially cause the toilet to overflow—leading to an even bigger mess. Rather than repeatedly flushing, use a toilet plunger or plumber’s snake to dislodge the clog.

If you want to avoid using a snake to unclog a drain, or if you don’t have one, try vinegar and baking soda. Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 cup of white vinegar. Wait for 15 minutes, and then run hot water (but not boiling water) down the drain to see if the clog is clear. Repeat multiple times as needed.

Yes, flushing a clogged toilet can make it overflow. While flushing the toilet may push enough pressure through the system to dislodge the clog, this is unlikely. Your best bet is to use a plunger and hope the suction can break up whatever is blocking the pipe. If this doesn’t work, use a plumbing auger or call a pro to help.

No, you should not see water in a sewer cleanout. If you do, it could indicate that you have a block or leak in your main sewer line—which can cause sewage to back up inside your home and potentially flood your yard. Your best bet is to call a local sewer cleaner if you notice any water or sewage around your cleanout.

The most common cause of a clogged sump pump is natural debris buildup. As water enters the sump pit, it can carry small pieces of debris that build up over time, or the debris can get caught in the filter. If you forget to cover the pit after cleaning the sump pump and pit, debris can also collect in the pit. Corrosion on the metal discharge pipe can also clog the pump. Additionally, if your pipes freeze, it can prevent water from draining properly and cause a clog.
