"I wasn't sure if the drip system in my planter boxes were working properly so I purchased a $49 Angie's List Deal for a "sprinkler tune-up" from Paul Viers Landscaping. I received an email from Paul within a day or two of my purchase and scheduled an appointment for Saturday, May 7th. Paul arrived on time and checked my sprinklers in both the front and back yard. Several sprinklers in the front yard needed to be adjusted and he also fixed the drip system in the planter boxes. He also did a quick assessment of all the plants and trees in my yard giving me pointers on what to do to keep my plants healthy and free of bugs. This was the best $49 I ever spent. I was so impressed with Paul's knowledge that I asked him to come back to do additional gardening projects for me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs work done in their yard. Paul is just great!!!!"

"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. "Randy's work was exemplary and professional.  He listened to what we wanted and also made some very helpful suggestions. He removed and older fountain and replaced it with a rustic looking natural stone piece that had to fit into a corner.  The new fountain is more pleasing, both visually and sonically (two gently cascading walls) and is much easier to maintain.  Randy was on-site every day and did a good deal of the work himself, and his crew was prompt and very thorough.  Any minor tweaks were addressed immediately.

"We contacted Gwyny last spring after reading other positive reviews of Bottoms Up on Angie?s List. We had a litany of small- to medium-size projects we wanted to address, but we were overwhelmed at the thought of tackling them all ourselves. We have a small house on a large corner lot, so there is a lot of yard to contend with, and it seemed like her company would be a good fit with the work we were looking to do.

She stopped by a couple days after our initial phone call to walk through the yard and discuss the work: removing turf and replacing with mulch; removing weeds and certain plants in planters and replacing with succulents; installing landscape lighting, etc. She emailed us a quote within 24-hours of our meeting. We immediately felt comfortable with her and were pleased with the quote we received, so we moved forward with scheduling the work.

Gwyny is so knowledgeable, and she has really great ideas about how to create a beautiful and useful landscape. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but she was able to guide us in the right direction through the whole process. For example, we have a large planter surrounding a very large tree in our backyard that was just wasted space. Gwyny suggested turning it into a sandbox, and our two little ones have played in it almost every day since we did so.

Also, since we were having quite a bit of turf removed and replaced with drought-resistant landscaping, she steered us toward Pasadena?s Turf Removal Program. We received a rebate of $1,600, which helped offset the cost of the landscaping.

Working with Gwyny was a wonderful personal experience. She answers the phone AND does the work with her amazing crew of guys. If my wife and I had attempted to do all this work ourselves (in the spare 5-minutes we get each week in between raising our two toddlers), it would have taken us a year or more to do what Gwyny and her guys did in two days. And it may have ended in our divorce. Just kidding. But not really.

We couldn?t be happier with the service we received as well as the end result. Our neighbors and friends have all commented on the beauty of our yard. We receive so much more enjoyment out of it, and the best part is that it requires much less ongoing maintenance than it did before.

We have already recommended Gwyny and her crew to another friend of ours, and we will happily recommend her to any and all that ask!
