"George was very honest in what services he can provide, if he felt the project was out of his scope he kept it honest and give alternatives for the project.Mounting my television was one of the projects George did, After coming out and realized my stone was placed with nail glue, George suggested mounting from the ceiling to get the look and better stability I wanted and that was the best. Thanks George I love it"

"We had a short laundry list of exterior wood-working projects such as siding repair/replacement, a wooden swing repair and replacement of some rotting deck boards. Everything looked clean and professional. We appreciated his suggestions to handle the projects more efficiently than we were originally thinking. Good work!"

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can mount a TV on a brick wall as a DIY project. This process requires specific tools, such as a masonry drill and masonry bits, as a regular power drill is not sufficient for drilling into dense surfaces like brick. You will need to drill mounting holes directly into the bricks, not the mortar, to ensure there is enough support for the weight of the TV and its bracket. After drilling, use large plastic wall anchors or concrete screws to securely attach the TV mount.

Yes, drywall can hold a 50-pound TV. However, when mounting a TV, you’ll either need to attach it to wall studs or use drywall anchors. If you use anchors, make sure to buy a type that can hold at least 50 pounds. Molly bolts, threaded anchors, and toggle bolts are all good options. For extra support, you can also install a wall mounting plate with the anchors.

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV.

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.

Pro expertise allows optimal angling and cable management, improving room aesthetics.

Fire and electronics typically don't mix, but that doesn't mean you can't mount your TV on a brick fireplace. However, you should proceed with caution. If you do not use your fireplace regularly, you can be assured that your TV will remain undamaged. However, if you do take advantage of it, be aware that hot air, containing soot, will travel upwards. Even with the flue fully open, the temperature above the fireplace can still get very high.
