"We have a 1970's and we decided to have an energy audit by Landmark Construction. It was clear that our house have some energy issues and was in need of a any type of energy overhaul.  The report that was prepared for us by Charlie and his office staff, was comprehensive, clear to understand and revealed that the ducts at the attic  was not sized appropriately. In addition to that, the furnace/AC in the smaller unit was old (and original) and had to be replaced. The recommendations that Charlie told us, included a new furnace/AC, new tankless water system, hot water pipe insulation, building sealing, the insulation and new ducting throughout the house. This was the best investment we ever made.  I could not believe the difference in our utilities bill.  Charlie and his team were great,  professional and experienced. I wish we did these 15 years ago!!

"This review is long overdue. In October of 2014 my wife and I
finally decided it was time to break down and install an HVAC system. After
extensive research, we chose three local HVAC companies to come to the house
and provide us with estimates. And although  Canoga Park Heating & Air Conditioning
did not come in with the lowest bid (they fell right in the middle) we chose to
work with them based on how thoroughly they explained the process, who was
going to be there, steps they were going to take before, during and after the
install was done to ensure we were happy with their work; and last (but
certainly not least!), because of their sales rep Rocky who worked with us. Not
only was Rocky knowledgeable, professional and not at all high pressure, but he
was also there for us after the install to make sure things were working
properly. And at times, they weren?t? 
Having lived in a house in the Valley for the past 15 years that
had no AC (but luckily, a pool), my wife and I decided we wanted a few extra
bells and whistles when it came to our new HVAC ? but nothing too fancy. That
said, we opted for an upgraded thermostat. We went with the Venstar which is
programmable by the hour and also (via a free app) allows you to control your
thermostat from a mobile device, allow you to check current room temperature,
daily and weekly energy use and even set alerts. It?s pretty cool and works
great, but when we first had it installed it required some fine tuning and
Rocky was there, putting in overtime to make sure it was set up correctly. Two
days later it was acting weird and once again, Rocky came by the house and
figured out what was wrong. Turns out it was nothing, but Rocky was more than
happy enough to assist. Three days after that we determined that the dampers
were not set the way we needed them to be. Simply meaning, the air flow coming
out in one room didn?t match the flow in the other. So technicians had to go
back up into the attic and adjust the flow ? which they did and seemed happy to
do it. And that was the overall impression I got from the whole crew. They were
happy to be there and be doing their job.
