"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

The customer service guy was very pleasant when he came to do the site inspection prior to giving the estimate. "The SGK office staff were very polite and helpful and the gentleman that came out to do the estimate was also very polite and very knowledgeable. He knew a lot of information about the windows that I didn't even know. He spent a lot of time going over different types of windows and how the different ratings could benefit our home and be better for our home in the long run. I did collect a few quotes and in the end SGK was not the cheapest but the quality of their product I feel is well worth the cost. I also don't mind paying a little more since they took more time to answer questions and go over their product in a way that the other companies didn't.
