"Eric and the rest of the workers and employees at 247 painting were so amazing. They took such great care in painting my new house for move in!! I wanted some really out there colors for my backsplash and my accent walls in my bedrooms and it came out so great and so clean the edges were so crisp I am so happy. The customer service was top tier. They were so attentive and professional. Everyone equally had enough knowledge to answer my many questions so the process went very smoothly. My house was finished two whole days earlier than expected so that was also a bonus. I will definitely be hiring 247 painting again!!"

"Will and his workers were very nice, professional. Will had good communication, responded to texts/ phone calls in a timely manner. Issues that arose that had nothing to do with the concrete being poured such as automatic sprinkler wires and rotten fence post he took the time to let me know and actually fixed it himself where I think other people would have not taken the time to fix and he did not ask for extra compensation even when offered. You can tell he takes pride in his workmanship and pays attention to detail. As the owner he was at the job site w/ his workers doing the job and not just sending a crew out. I had a quote from another person that was not going to do the job under his business so he could â save me money â and he cost $1,000. More. If I ever need concrete again I would call Will Gomez concrete!!!"

Concrete Finishing questions, answered by experts

No, wet concrete will not bond to dry concrete without an additional bonding agent. The common alternative is adding a sand or gravel layer under a concrete slab to enhance bonding and create a stable foundation. The right choice depends on the height and thickness of your two slabs, local laws, and the use of the specific concrete slab.

Earth tones, such as brown, beige, and tan, are some of the most popular colors for stamped concrete. You can also use reds and grays to mimic the look of brick or stone. The right color for your project depends on your area and the look you’re going for.

The repair method for a damaged concrete patio depends on the type of damage. For surface cracks, a concrete crack filler is a quick and simple fix. For larger cracks or uneven slabs, you may need to hire a professional to pump a cementitious material under the sunken portion to lift it back into place. For heavy spalling and other surface damage, resurfacing may be the best and most affordable option. This includes pouring a new layer of concrete over the old layer.

Epoxy paint is a popular option for concrete due to its durability and stain resistance. You can also use masonry paint, which adheres well to concrete. Acrylic paints are more affordable but not as durable. Concrete stain is another option, which is more durable than paint and won’t peel over time.

Other garage floor concrete sealers besides epoxy include solvent-based acrylic and polyacrylic sealers, quick-drying polymer or polyurethane sealers, and scratch-resistant polyurea floor coatings that are ideal for exterior applications. These sealants come in basic clear forms and more decorative options, varying in price accordingly.
