"Progressive Builders did an awesome job with our house. We had a room addition, bathroom, closest, and a converted room to a nursery. We are very pleased with the work done. "This is the biggest project my husband and I have ever done on our home since we moved in together, so we spent a considerable amount of time searching through websites and reviews on Angie?s List. GoodFellas construction stood out to us for a number of reasons. First of course was the name of the company, mainly for my husband since his favorite movie actually is Goodfellas. Second was the amount of useful information we were able to get from the website and the wonderful work examples they had posted in their testimonials and their reviews they had on their social media accounts especially on Yelp. Third, and probably my favorite was free online estimates; we were able to begin drawing up a budget before formally making any decisions, which was great, especially since we are already dealing with a newborn coming our way.
When it came to designing the nursery my husband had it the worst we had to give up his so called ?Man Cave?. Which was a complete disaster, my husband had damaged the flooring and walls in the room. As for the bathroom it wasnt safe for our future newborn to use any time soon. When it came to designing the bathroom it went into so much thought honestly it was more stressful than the nursery. The bathroom was completely falling apart the shower was leaking water through the glass doors, we took that down and inserted a new bathtub for the newborn. We wanted to go take an old school approach in the restroom so after we implemented the bathtub we changed the sink to a mahogany wood with a very luxurious granite top to give it some sort of a elegant old school style finish. As well we painted the walls with a light burgundy to stick to the style that we wanted. As well in the restroom we changed the lighting from just being two bulbs in the restroom which made it very dark and nobody really used that restroom for that reason. We ended up using a in-ceiling lighting with dimmer, this gave the restroom the most spectacular look for the restroom. It was a jaw dropping experience when it came to the finished product of the restroom.
In regards to the nursery we included some aluminum shutters, base boards and carpret which allowed us to take the design onto another level as well provide more of a security for young one. We told Joe we wanted a neutral room for a nursery because I didn't want to spoil the surprise to my husband about what gender we were having.
The team and Joe was amazing help throughout the process such as when it came to keeping me up to date to latest changes or improvements on the house. Joe made sure everything was taken care of all the time even when it came to a small issue like the trash they left a huge mess after one day, my husband came home and was astonished of the mess in front of the house but the moment we picked up the phone and called there customer service which was overall A+, they came the same day and cleaned up everything and made sure they never left a mess again after that incident. When it came to providing ideas for our future nursery, I swear these project managers really have a view of what the customer wants. I was never disappointed with them and their work effort, they really astonished me I was so picky on every little detail and Joe the Project Manager really had to put up with it and that he did, very patient person and honestly the best Project Manager. Highly recommended from my husband and me, Thank you so much Goodfellas Construction definetly will be calling you back for any future home remodeling plans.
