"Edgar and Omar are professionals in every sense of the word! They squeezed us in to there busy schedule so we could get our house on the market. They got the backsplash up in a afternoon. Plus put up a new ceiling fan that same day. They cleaned up after themselves and have a wonderful work ethic. I wish I had known about them sooner! I would hire them in a heartbeat!"

"My wife and I own a manufactured housing park. Last year we put in 20 new homes and Daniel did all of the interior work. When new homes come in, they require repair of sheet rock, trim, and adjustment of doors, etc. Beyond that, Daniel hung storm doors and additional lighting, including ceiling fans. Daniel is well organized and communicates his schedule. In my experience, Daniel provides quality work at a reasonable price. Overall, Daniel did an outstanding job for us."

"Would hire again. Johnston kept appointment, even texted with ETA of arrival. Gave him detailed SOW (scope of work). We shopped together for hardware. He made cost-saving recommendations. Completed work (cabinet hinges, knobs and door pulls)was excellent. When finished, he removed old debris and vacuumed area. First photo below shows top cabinet with old brass, bottom cabinets with new brushed nickel. Second photo shows the new look."

Grill Assembly questions, answered by experts

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

Gas grill installation costs around $540 on average, not including the price of the actual grill, and most homeowners pay between $120 and $1,400. This total will go toward laying down a new gas line, connecting it to your existing gas system, pressure testing the line, and connecting it to your grill. Your total project price will depend on the length of the gas line, whether or not the line needs to be installed underground, and the cost of the permits in your area.

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

No. Placing a built-in grill against the house is discouraged due to safety concerns. Building codes and regulations often require a minimum distance (typically 10 feet or more) between a gas grill and any combustible structure, including a house. Placing a grill too close poses a fire hazard and risks damage to the siding or structure, potentially leading to carbon monoxide buildup. It's essential to consult local building codes, follow manufacturer guidelines, and prioritize safety by positioning the grill at a safe distance, ideally in a well-ventilated outdoor kitchen or designated grill area.

All U.S. states require permits for gas grill installation, so you’ll have to get one before you move forward with your project. Permits help ensure that the gas line runs safely to avoid gas leaks and explosions. Gas line permits can usually also only be pulled by certified plumbers, which means you’ll have to hire a professional from the start. The permit for a gas line installation for a gas grill usually costs between $100 and $300. You can contact your installation company or building department for more accurate pricing.
