"Ulisses was professional, friendly and answered all my questions before the work started. I had old cabinets and he did a good job fixing it and touching them up. Despite the late afternoon start, he didn't rush it and stayed until he felt it was done right."

"I had just moved into a new house and needed an entertainment center built into a niche in my living room. Through lots of research I found Paul from McClintock Cabinet. Paul came highly recommended on Angie's List (unfortunately, not Yelp reviews so fixing that now) so I reached out. Paul was on vacation but still corresponded with me through email. Sent pictures of what I had at my current home and some drawings of what I thought would work well in my new home and Paul corresponded his thoughts and some rough estimates. Communication throughout the entire experience was excellent! When Paul was back in town we made arrangements to meet at the new house just before escrow closed. Paul measured everything about 10 times (mark it twice - cut it one) and took a lot of notes. Paul also made it a point to document the design of the kitten cabinets so he could match the doors and drawers on the entertainment center as closely as possible. We sat down and finalized a design and I provided a down payment and off Paul went to build my new entertainment center. Paul expected that it would take about 5 weeks to build and he delivered within the timeframe promised. On installation day Paul arrived on time with he team and went to work installing the unit. Paul's team was extremely cautious about not damaging anything in the home. Lots of tarps and blanket we laid down. More measurements where taken for light switches and outlets and last minuet adjustments were made. About 4 hours later may new entertainment center had been installed and it was awesome. The doors and drawers matched the kitchen cabinets perfectly. Not close... A perfect match. The finish was amazing and color was also a perfect match to everything else in the house. The unit matched the design and accommodated all the components just right. Paul and his team then helped to mount the TV, which was an unexpected bonus and then cleaned up and left me wire and connect all of the equipment. Paul did a great job and I can't recommend him enough for any household cabinetry."

"Wow, this was a big job.  And I decided to take it on pregnant.  Talk about nesting in overdrive!  Hanan, the owner of Woodmaster Kitchen and Bath, is absolutely wonderful.  Working with him has been a pleasure.  He is everything you want in a contractor: smart, creative, responsible, organized and HONEST.  He also has excellent workers.  I am very particular when it comes to my home and Hanan's workers were very impressive.  Neat, courteous and hard workers.  They do great work.
I started with remodeling my kitchen/laundry room, which involved knocking down a couple of walls and tearing up the tile flooring. Hanan managed to save me a few dollars by reusing some on my cabinets.  He also made several cabinets to fit the new space.  He went with me to select my tile and stone, which was invaluable.  Any questions the sales person had, he was right there to answer.  Oh and of course, I didn't find everything I wanted at the first place.  With no complaints, Hanan went with me to multiple locations on various days.  I wanted high end appliances and Hanan had a contact who saved me over ten thousand dollars on my Viking appliances.
I wanted to turn my kitchen into a great room so Hanan built bookshelves in the adjoining family room to match my kitchen cabinetry.  In my family room area, a stone tile was installed along with a big screen TV.  We also put hardwood floors down in the kitchen, then stained the floors in the whole house to a new darker color.  I was out of my house for a week while this was done.  When the job took a few extra days, Hanan offered to pay my hotel bill.  But he'd thrown so many extras in to the job, I was happy to cover it myself.
The bathroom had original tile from the 1940s and a small shower.  Hanan found a way to fit in a new tub.  The new tile I selected only had matching metal bull-nose pieces.  Much too modern for my house.  Instead, Luis, the foreman, created bull-nose edges out of my tile.  Very time consuming and detailed work. I love the final results.  In the master bedroom, Hanan redid my old built-ins with new drawers and painted the wood to match.
Lastly, in my backyard, Hanan built a patio enclosure, installed a big screen TV and a gas grill/sink/refrigerator unit and opened up my living room fireplace so that was double-sided.  He also covered my old brick chimney with a gorgeous stone.  My old patio stone was re-grouted, pressure washed and sealed so that it looked new."

Cabinet Making questions, answered by experts

Yes, new bathroom cabinets made from a quality material can increase home value. Updated cabinets enhance the overall look and functionality of the bathroom, making it more appealing to potential buyers. Additionally, they create a sense of cleanliness, an essential factor for homebuyers. Investing in new cabinets is a cost-effective way to modernize your bathroom's aesthetics and usability, which is a win-win for your home's market value.

For safety when installing a vanity, attaching the vanity to the wall is ideal to prevent it from moving. Typically, sinks must be 4 inches away from bathtubs. Also, most states require that you have 21 inches in front of a sink, but the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) recommends 30 inches for more comfort.

Solid wood is the most common material for cabinet bases. It’s a popular choice because it’s durable and will hold up over time. Oak, maple, cherry, hickory, and pine are all types of solid wood that can be used to build cabinet bases. Other options include plywood, medium-density fiberboard, and other types of manufactured lumber, but they need to be sealed properly to avoid swelling, separating, and delamination from moisture.

Installing cabinet toe kicks after installing flooring is common, as this produces a sleek, streamlined appearance along the cabinetry bases. The toe kick is a cabinetry term for the covered, recessed areas at the cabinet’s base that let you stand closer to the counter more comfortably by making room for your toes.

Yes, many services include the removal and disposal of old cabinets. Confirm with your contractor.
