Customers say: Quick response

"We were super pleased with their knowledge, on-time preparedness, professionalism, and beautiful workmanship! Our cabin kitchen is now transformed into exactly what I had imagined. The granite they helped me pick out and the new sink look great with my rustic decor. Before installing the granite, we had them do the demo and raise up the counters three inches, for ergonomic reasons, because we are tall. I have great difficulty with arthritis in my back, and leaning over the old sink and short counters made it unbearable to fix meals. Artisan Natural Stone is an amazing, family-owned business in our area, going back three generations. We highly recommend them! Appreciatively, Nancy E. Kester"

"A fantastic experience from start to finish, BGL transformed our vague intentions into concrete form. We needed a soil and grass lawn converted to a rock garden with undemanding but beautiful flora. An adjacent ramp and slab needed to be replaced to correct their inclines. BGL rapidly produced a striking design and then enacted it rapidly and thoroughly. In addition to the concrete work, stone walkways were placed and a drip irrigation system was installed and integrated."

Stone Countertops questions, answered by experts

When installing an undermount kitchen sink in a granite countertop, use 100% silicone to secure the basin. If you’re worried your sink is too heavy, speak with a countertop professional about how to adhere the sink to the countertop without worrying about issues down the road. Sagging undermount sinks can be a common plumbing problem if they’re not properly adhered, so always make sure you’re using a high-quality material.

Yes, quartzite is heat-resistant, so you can put hot pots and pans on top without risking damage.

While Caesarstone countertops are heat-resistant, placing hot pots directly on them is not recommended. Extreme heat can cause thermal shock, potentially leading to cracks or discoloration. Always use trivets or heat pads to protect the surface and maintain its appearance and integrity. This precaution helps ensure the longevity of your Caesarstone countertop.

Most homebuyers value standard counter height (34–36 inches) over bar height (40–42 inches).

The cost to install a kitchen island ranges from $900 to $6,500, with an average price of around $4,800. The final cost depends on whether you buy a prefabricated unit or have one custom-built. Prefabricated kitchen islands are generally cheaper. A simple prefabricated cart can cost between $150 and $900, while a permanent, stationary prefabricated island costs from $900 to $5,000. A custom-built kitchen island averages around $4,800 but can cost $10,000 or more depending on factors like materials, size, design complexity, and accessibility.
