"Very pleased with the extensive work Crowder Tree Specialist performed on our property. While initially called in to do some light trimming and brush & debris removal, a more thorough inspection was made by Olga and Martine. We walked the full property (almost 2 acres) and in addition to the work at hand, the brought to our attention quite a few other conditions of which we were previously unaware. For example, they quickly spotted the severely overgrown oak dangerously reaching across the road and powerlines à ¢à  à  although this I knew about but for which I had been postponing a fix. It became a viable and desperately needed addition to the other work at hand (including some massive other unsafe overgrowth). They identified these and several other situations and then offered a bid on the additional work. The cost of the job exceeded our initial expectations no little, but being relatively new to the property, due to years of neglect the scope of work was also far beyond what we had initially realized. I believe the cost to be quite reasonable considering the sheer volume of work. Despite a few minor bumps along the way, communication was clear and responsible. When the time came for the work to commence, we were amazed by the skill and efficiency demonstrated by Olga, Martine and their crew. They made short work out of what turned out to be many truckloads of old debris and cuttings, cleared previously unmanageable undergrowth and took care of the old and ailing oaks. They found and cleared up problems I didnà ¢à  à  t even know existed. I can scarcely imagine anyone else providing such great service for the cost. In just a few days they quickly and efficiently tamed the property as well as tending to most of the damaged, hazardous and stressed trees. Overall, Crowder Tree provided amazing service at a reasonable price, we will certainly be having them back to take our property to the next level. - Randy & Norma"

"I have used Joan and his crew for my rental in Pollock Pines and they were absolutely amazing. I had 8 trees to be removed with their stumps and a bunch of old stumps as well. It took the crew about a day and a half. They were fast, efficient and professional. From the time I contact Joan to the end of the job, he was always explaining the process and details of the job. We are extremely happy of the results . I will recommend them to anyone who wants a job well done"

"They trimmed off the dead branches of several tall pine trees and removed some dangerous oak branches, as well as cut down 3 dead oak trees. They even moved my gazebo to a safe location before cutting the oak branches above. They were very contiencous and did it all in a day."

"Branson graded our driveway and did a fantastic job! He responded quickly after a major rainstorm washed out parts of the road. The 1/4 mile driveway was repaired and graded before we had any more storm damage. The job was started right away and finished on schedule. I would definitely hire Branson Enterprise again."

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

It’s possible to go too far trimming your bushes or hedges. If you overdo it, you may kill the plant. Stick to trimming about a third of the branches on your bush each season to prevent over-cutting. If your hedge is overgrown and needs a heavy trim, avoid cutting off the main branches that make up the top of the bush.

Dormant seasons like fall and winter are the best times to dig up plants, including holly bushes. Plants aren’t growing during these seasons, so the removal process goes a lot quicker. Consider hiring a landscaping team to handle holly bush removal during the cold-weather months for off-season pricing deals, too.

Typically, the best type to trim bushes is when they’re dormant. Winter and late fall, potentially even early spring are the best times to trim your bushes. These seasons allow you better access to the branches, as all leaves are gone and the branches are more brittle, making the trimming process easier.

You can leave grass clippings on the lawn, depending on their length. You don’t want to completely cover new grass and block it from sunlight, or encourage moss crowd out the more delicate grass. However, short clippings are usually fine to leave on the lawn. In some cases, they can be beneficial: Clippings can be a source of fertilizer and help protect the ground as young grass blades develop.

Trimming a rose bush is similar to cutting back your shrubs or other bushes.

First, you’ll start by removing old, damaged, or diseased branches from the base. Next, thin out the plant's interior by removing thin, weak branches. Finally, you’ll want to cut off buds where the leaves meet the stem.

Trim away using a 45-degree angle, as this will help with water runoff and promote new growth outward.
