"We worked with Ali (sales manager) and Tony (project manager), who took the time to design a project that made sense for our property and our budget, made a number of suggestions and recommendations and were never pushy or tried to "sell" us on something. The crew really went above and beyond to provide top quality workmanship and overall we were in very good hands. Highly recommended!"

"We were nervous about remodeling our kitchen, but Ilan Yosef and IY Development and Renovation made the process seamless and enjoyable. Ilan s team worked efficiently, paid attention to every little detail, and took the time to ensure that everything was exactly how we envisioned it. The final result is a beautiful, functional kitchen that feels like it belongs in a design magazine! I can t thank Ilan and his team enough for their incredible work. "Bruno Construction did a great job remodeling my home. Mike and his team were fantastic. Always on time and thorough. Mike was great in listening to my ideas and understanding what my goals and vision for our remodel were. His ideas to make our home more suitable for our needs were great. He took a dated 80â s home and turned it into the modern farmhouse we dreamed of. Construction can be very overwhelming but Bruno Construction made the process as seamless as I couldâ ve hoped for. Will definitely be calling in the future for any other projects we need done in the future."

"After having a disastrous master bathroom remodel where the subcontractor had botched the job, I was faced with finding a company that can fix it. The job was done so poorly that it had to be redone. Naturally I was quite skeptical after this ordeal.. When I contacted Expert Home Builders, Owner came out and assured me that they could complete my master bath to my standards (I am very picky) and it would be done in a very timely manner. Their tile man and painter did exquisite work. After the glass shower, vanity, and tub were installed, I was extremely happy with the results. And you will too if you choose to use them. They offer first rate quality on their remodeling services. I recommendation them without any hesitation."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

You can draw your own house plans using three-dimensional modeling software, but in most cases, you’ll need an architect to draw up the final plans. Architects understand local building regulations and requirements, so their plans will be necessary for getting permits approved, and they’ll also ensure your home is structurally sound. DIY house plans can be a good place to start to help visualize your project, but you should always defer to a professional before trying to proceed with the project.

Mid-century modern architecture was a popular home style throughout the U.S. from the 1950s to 1970s. Most homes feature a wide and symmetrical floor plan with low-sloped roofs and floor-to-ceiling windows. Its minimalism and balanced appearance are back on the home style scene, particularly when maximizing sunlight, airflow, and a blend with the home's natural surroundings.

The costs depend on the type of wood, labor, roofing material, permits, and whether additional storage or enclosed walls are included.

While you will always work with a team of professionals at some point during your home build, homeowners with experience can take on some part of the process. Manage the initial brainstorm, brief writeup, and floor layout phase with minimal assistance before contacting a general contractor. And while you can purchase stock blueprints for some home designs, it's always best to speak with professionals when choosing one ideal for your property.

Designs typically take 2-6 months, depending on factoring, project size, and customization needs. Larger or more complex designs may require additional time for approval and revisions.
