"100 out of 5 stars 🌟 Akob is THE best person I've ever hired. He goes above + beyond 'just doing a job.! I had a longggg list of furniture assembly, heavy + delicate wall mounting (vintage mirrors), installations (Ring doorbell, bidet, shower head, faucet, window treatments & more.) He completed it all with such care, patience, efficiency, & obvious pride in his craft. Everything to the last detail was executed with perfection. Even when I had the wrong faucet attachment he patiently explained why + what I needed. Plus he's such a kind, respectful, humble person. You get the total package with Akob. He's one in a billion!"

"We did a whole kitchen remodel. David was very knowledgeable and recommended a wall removal which completely changed the look of our kitchen and opened it up. Everyone that worked on the kitchen was very professional and they stuck to their schedule. They were pretty quick getting us back in our kitchen and it turned our beautiful. I absolutely love my kitchen and I am so happy I chose CA Cabinets."

"Overall, Felipe did a very nice job remodeling the bathroom. There were a few unexpected developments but Felipe was able to handle them well with minimal input. He took the initiative when it came to working with the tenant on picking our a flooring color as well as the new vanity. He also provided a reference to re-glace the bathtub and that worked out well too."

"Very well. Professional quality job, completed in less time then expected. Sliced up old fiberglass material to fit in trash cans, cleaned up nicely after job completion. Price was based on time and materials, rate as agreed upon and fair."

"Very well! The carpenter came up with a simple approach that didn’t require removing the old trim yet gave us the Craftsman-ish look we wanted. Also met our deadline (we had guests coming)"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Pool light replacements are often more expensive compared to other pool parts, like pump motors, or standard light bulbs for indoor use. The reason for the higher cost is that pool lights are specially designed and made with parts meant to keep swimmers safe. The light fixture and surrounding parts protecting the bulb must be waterproof, tightly sealed, and resistant to extreme temperatures.

An easy way to know whether your sand filter has enough sand is to check how full the filter is and what the sand looks and feels like. The filter container should be two-thirds to three-quarters full of sand. Look for interior marks indicating the ideal sand level. If you put your hand into the sand, it should flow through your fingers without clumping. The filter pressure gauge is also an easy indicator—the right amount of sand leads to normal pressure, while too much or too little sand can cause high or low pressure.

DIY is not recommended due to its complexity. Professional installation ensures proper fitting and longevity.

Yes, pool pumps use a significant amount of electricity, making them one of the biggest energy consumers in a home. A pool pump can use up to three times as much electricity as a refrigerator. Typically, a residential pool pump consumes about 1 kilowatt-hour (kWh) for every hour it runs. Because pumps often need to run for about eight hours a day to properly filter the water, this can add up to an annual consumption of 3,000 to 5,000 kWh, which can cost between $480 and $800 per year based on average electricity rates.

The amount of electricity your pump uses depends on its size, energy efficiency, and daily run time. To lower your energy consumption, you can choose an energy-efficient or variable-speed pump, ensure it is correctly sized for your pool, and run it only for the minimum time required to keep the water clean.

You don’t need to drain the whole pool to patch a pool liner, but be prepared to dive in with your swimsuit and goggles to patch a leak below the water level. By draining the pool, you can actually expose the liner to more harsh conditions, like wind and sunlight, that cause the tears to worsen. It’s best to use the ink test and waterproof patches or tape to identify the leak and patch it up.
