"Justin was incredible. I hired him for chimney and dryer duct cleaning. He arrived almost 30min early, but waited outside til I saw it was him waiting patiently in his truck for the 830am appt time. Extremely efficient, friendly, and cost effective. He had a wonderful personality, especially when talking to my very chatty 3 year old son. He kept me informed and my house clean while he worked. I couldnâ t recommend his services enough and have already gotten a quote for his next visit to do the gutters!! Thank you for being so helpful and professional!!"

"Leo was very helpful and quick to respond. We’re happy with how our 2 bathrooms turned out. Project was completed within the time promised. Our only complaint is that the workers did not clean up very well. But overall, we’re satisfied and we’ll use them again."

Dryer Vent Cleaning questions, answered by experts

While a professional can always help, there are some common plumbing culprits you can check yourself to see if you can find the sewer gas smell. For example, you should check your water traps, sometimes called P-traps and S-traps, which are located under sink, shower, and laundry drains. The wax ring beneath the base of your toilet, which creates a watertight seal with the plumbing, could also have gone bad.

Taking good care of your dryer will help ensure its longevity and keep your clothes nice and dry. Some dryer maintenance tips include:

  • Clearing the lint screen after every use

  • Deep cleaning the lint screen with detergent every three months

  • Don’t overload your dryer

  • Cleaning the dryer vent at least once a year

  • Cleaning the dryer drum twice a year with a microfiber cloth and rubbing alcohol

Absolutely! Cleaning the interior of your dryer is crucial to maintain its efficiency and safety. As time goes by, lint, debris, and residues from dryer sheets tend to build up inside the drum, on the lint trap, and around the heating elements. Regular cleaning of the inside of the dryer prevents these particles from blocking the system, ensuring smooth airflow, and reducing the risk of fire hazards.

Yes, professionals clean ducts and exhaust fans to ensure complete system efficiency and compliance with safety codes.

Failing to open your flue can lead to serious health hazards if you start a fire because the smoke will back up into your home. Breathing fire smoke, even in relatively small quantities, is bad for human lungs, and smoke can also irritate your nasal passages and eyes. Furthermore, smoke can cause damage to your interior fixtures and furnishings, at the very least leaving an unpleasant smoky smell for a long time. In short: If your flue isn’t open (or you’re not sure if it is or not), don’t start a fire to find out!
