"Matt came to our house to give an estimate of running a new electric line from the meter to an internal location. He provided an estimate in a timely manner via email and also offered a first-timer Angie's List discount. It also made it more convenient that he was willing to come out on a Sunday since we both have busy work schedules during the week.
On the day of service, he came out promptly and finished the work within the time window promised. (Before he got started, I changed the location of the electrical box, and he accommodated without complaint or excuses.) Every question I asked indicated that he had done the job to code. Before leaving, I mentioned that we were considering upgrading our electrical panel, and he also gave us some advice about timing with SDG&E and the city (how long things take). 
Matt is a professional. I like to try out a contractor with a small job rather than risking a big job on someone I don't know. I appreciate how prompt and excellent he was, treating a very small job as if it were important. As I called around to get multiple quotes, I definitely felt like some professional electricians thought my job was too small to respond quickly, and other small-time electricians who did respond quickly made me doubt whether they would do things to code/by the book. I'm glad I found Matt, and I would hire him again and recommend him to others.

GOT HERE AND REMOVED FAN FROM BOXES,, PUT THEM TOGETHER, THE FANS AND LIGHTS INSTALLED THEM IN.
THEY INSTALLED THEM,  AND WAS GONE IN  20 MINUTES.

Mr. Dove didn't do the work.  It was two of his employees or subcontractors.  The installation of the wiring, ceiling fan and ceiling light went fine, but the drywall repair wasn't that good.  The texture they sprayed on the walls didn't even remotely match the existing wall texture, so their patch job was obvious.  Also, they didn't reconnect something in one of the outlets so only the top socket worked.  When I notified Mr. Dove, he came out the next day to fix it.  I was impressed by Mr. Dove's professionalism, and would hire him again provided he did the work.

"Scott was excellent. For a rather standard job of connecting a porch light, his estimate was way below some of what I was getting...in one case even half ! He showed up right on time, and even went to Home Depot for a new and better fixture and bulb in place of the old one I had. He did the job in almost no time...and he's a nice guy to boot. "We wanted to bring a new look to the house by replacing the floor. After checking several companies, we decided to contact landmark construction because we saw a project that they did and we liked the feedback from the people that hired them. We met with Ezra and he looked and saw the house. He provided us with several samples of wood floor and after we selected the floor that we wanted to have, we met again for the final price for the work. Ezra was able to work with us about the price and the dates of installation. He was able to send 4 guys that will remove the old floor and to install the new one. The work was completed after 2 weeks and this could happened only because they worked on several sections at the house in the same time. The workers cleaned each space at the house where they worked and we were pleased with this type of work.

Their project manager clearly listened to our needs and wants = to freshen rather than redesign, to keep the oak vanities and good-condition countertops, to correct small “problems” that we’d lived with for decades, and to focus on changes that we’ll enjoy in the ten years that we still plan to live in this home. The tiled shower transformed the shower experience, brought spaciousness to a small room, and was done by an accommodating and experienced crew. He brought tile and carpet samples to the house, that both followed the earth tones in our home and created a light pattern-rich tiled shower.
