Everything was perfect. Matt is a true professional and not only did he do amazing work, but his attention to detail and customer service was awesome. Matt is clearly a great choice for anyone wanting a high quality of work done by someone who cares to do it right and make it look nice. He went above and beyond and the finished product exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Matt and Roper Electric. Note - I rarely leave reviews, but his service was truly awesome.

Matt and Dominic did an excellent job. This is just an example of the quality of their work. After installing a fan in the master bedroom we noticed the bed was not centered in the room. We talked about it and my wife and I planned on moving the bed later. Its huge with four tall heavy posts. At some point during the day, Matt and Dominic pushed the bed exactly where it should have been all along and now was centered in the room saving us an hour's work later.

Matt came to our house to give an estimate of running a new electric line from the meter to an internal location. He provided an estimate in a timely manner via email and also offered a first-timer Angie's List discount. It also made it more convenient that he was willing to come out on a Sunday since we both have busy work schedules during the week.
On the day of service, he came out promptly and finished the work within the time window promised. (Before he got started, I changed the location of the electrical box, and he accommodated without complaint or excuses.) Every question I asked indicated that he had done the job to code. Before leaving, I mentioned that we were considering upgrading our electrical panel, and he also gave us some advice about timing with SDG&E and the city (how long things take). 
Matt is a professional. I like to try out a contractor with a small job rather than risking a big job on someone I don't know. I appreciate how prompt and excellent he was, treating a very small job as if it were important. As I called around to get multiple quotes, I definitely felt like some professional electricians thought my job was too small to respond quickly, and other small-time electricians who did respond quickly made me doubt whether they would do things to code/by the book. I'm glad I found Matt, and I would hire him again and recommend him to others.

Matt was absolutely wonderful to work with. He is a very honest guy who does not try to push extras. He was very willing to work with my budget. He kept me very well informed about the progress on my project and met with me at my convenience. He came to my house after dark to walk the property with me, ensuring that the lighting in the yard was positioned correctly and how I wanted it to be. Matt is the first really honest and ethical electrician that I have hired and I am grateful to have found Roper Electrics. I will definitely be using him for any electrical needs in the future. He is knowledgeable and able to explain things well in terms that a non-electrician can understand at a reasonable level of complexity.

Matt and his partner, Dominic, arrived early the first morning and completed everything except the living room.  They were very professional and explained things as they went along.  They cleaned up all messes before departing.  The next day they tackled the living room and before any cuts were made they made sure that the lights were going to be in the best locations for our use.  Once we agreed they began working and did not stop until all was completed and all mess was cleaned up.  We love our new lighting, all have dimmers, and now our former dark living room has lots of light when we want it.

It went great. He was on time and more importantly on budget. The work was done fast and he was very professional. I feel I got a good and fair price from comparing other quotes. 

Electrician arrived promptly and did everything on my list. He was courteous and very professional. Even came back the next day to check on prior work. I would definitely call him again for any electrical needs.

Very professional, worked fast but thorough. Knows his trade. Will use him for all my home electrical needs going forward.

Matt came out to my house and was very professional. Discussed what I wanted to have done and he was able to offer several options to make it work (very informative) and described what would be the best option. End result is amazing. Wiring is concealed within the walls and looks like the house was pre-wired to have the fan there. My wife and I love it and are thankful for his services.

This is the second time Matt has done work for us.  He installed new kitchen lights for our last home when remodeling for sale.  Matt was honest, professional and very meticulous about his work.   Matt does not try to add on items that are not needed. He is very cost effective.  I would trust Matt on all our future jobs.

Matt is honest, does quality work and will redo an items it he doesn't like the outcome.  He is a master electrician and knows his profession.  I would trust Matt to anything and I usually ask him for referrals for other projects.
