"We love our cabinets! They look fantastic while remaining affordable. The friendly staff at AWD helped us from start to finish. They are very knowledgeable and gave us advice and tips when needed. They were receptive and patient with our ever-changing needs. Once we finalized our purchase, we received our cabinets within two weeks! The cabinets are very sturdy and the color is beautiful. The hinges and hardware are high quality. We are extremely pleased with AWD and would recommend them to any friends or family looking for good cabinets at a fair price."

I began my love affair with wood out of necessity. When my new bride and I started shopping for bedroom furniture to furnish our new home, we quickly realized our taste for finer furniture was not quite in proportion to the size of our budget. Sometime later after walking away from the furniture gallery, my wife showed me a picture of a nightstand she liked and asked if I could build it myself. After first scoffing at the idea, I decided I might get a few nice tools out of the deal. Quickly changing my approach to this ?possibly? good idea, I decided to give it a try. I purchased my first table saw, made my first nightstand and the rest, as they say, is history.\n\n

"I have never worked with someone so detail oriented, he and his company are just wonderful. My house burnt and he went in did the clean up to secure the property, his team came in and did the reconstruction after, and in 6 months time I had my home back in better shape than it was when this all happened, I would highly recommend his company."

Cabinet Making questions, answered by experts

The cost of cabinet installation is influenced by several factors, including the material and type of cabinets, the level of customization, labor rates, and any additional features such as soft-close mechanisms or hardware upgrades.

A cabinet installer measures and designs cabinet units for homes and businesses, including determining how to hide large appliances in the kitchen. They then prepare the spaces and install either custom, semi-custom, or stock cabinets. These contractors may apply paint or stain, or they’ll hire a third party to perform these services.

It’s much less expensive to build your own garage shelves, and you’ll still get stable, long-lasting, and sharp-looking shelves. Garage storage systems cost between $615 and $2,635, with the national average of about $1,455. Building DIY garage shelves typically costs less than $500, and the quality of a DIY garage shelving unit will almost always be higher than what you could buy premade for the equivalent price.

Most cabinetry made for a garage will have special coatings and finishes built to withstand extreme heat and cold, moisture, pest damage, rusting, and dry rot. However, many homeowners have put their old kitchen cabinets in the garage, added a couple of fresh coats of paint, and use them for a while without too much wear and tear.

Costs range from $1,500 to $5,000, depending on the number of cabinets and labor.
