Unlike other contractors who ghost you when a project is too small, Far Hill Construction responded right away, did a thorough inspection, and rather than trying to upsell us or suggest unrealistic remodels, they actually suggested ways we could SAVE money and yet their work looked like we spent thousands more than we actually did. They were able to get started right away, got our projects done with minimal fuss, were unfazed by our pesky cat, and attended to the tiniest details/touchups after all the major work was done. We were expecting this to be a month-long project and instead it took a couple of weeks, including first contact, estimate, and final completion. And that INCLUDES the extra work we asked them to take on when Home Depot (grrr) was not able to install/haul our new dishwasher and haul away our fridge as promised. Not only did they show up on time, but they often finished early. AND they sent google calendar invites to make sure we were all on the same page. -They sanded and painted our kitchen and hallway cabinets so they look brand new without the expense of replacing or refinishing. -They replaced the screens on our back patio and painted the latticework. - They sanded and painted our bathroom doors, so they look new and we avoided the expense of having those doors replaced. - They installed our new dishwasher and hauled away the old one. - They installed our new kitchen range hood AND had a custom panel stainless steel panel made when the hood (I purchased) did not quite fit within the existing framework. - They installed our new oven and built a framework to encapsulate it since it was smaller than the existing space. Ismaels expertise seems limitless and we got the impression he could take on any project asked of him. There simply are not enough stars to express how happy we were with Far Hill Construction. Ismael and Steven are superstars themselves and you would be lucky to hire them."
