"Needed carpet removed and hardwood put down in all my bedrooms. The work was done in a timely manner and price was negotiable. However, you need to use the company’s hardwood, which is of lower quality than what I initially wanted. Also, the workers spilled some stuff on my furniture, which landed me with random spots of dissolved stain on my tables and end tables. Financing 0% for 1yr was a plus though, so overall the choice worked well for me."

Customers say: True professional

"Josue did an amazing job. This was the second project we hired him for. The first one, he completely transformed my bare bones garage into an awesome office space. For this project he completely transformed our kitchen from a dated mess into a space we absolutely love being in now. Josue is a man of his word and will not stop until he gets every last detail complete, exactly as discussed. I will continue to hire him for more projects in the future."

"I'm very happy with the service i got from this company. I have no complains or problem with anything that they did. When i called this company, Adam sent me a person to check and give me an estimate. Marcus came over to my house the day after and saw the carpet that i need to wash. As a good faith, he also offered to wash me 2 running rugs that i have. The carpet that they washed, looks like new now and the rugs were brought back to me yesturday.
Thank you Adam and Marcus for this great service.

"Mike suggested we get the carpets cleaned and just do a small carpet replacement rather than completely replace the carpet.  He said that the carpet was still in good condition and should last at least a few more years.  Honest, helpful, and caring.  When we do purchase carpet, it will be from M&M Carpets.

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

It is not recommended to install or stretch a carpet without a power stretcher. Skipping essential tools like a power stretcher and a knee kicker will likely result in an improper installation, leaving you with wrinkles, creases, and an unappealing final look. While a knee kicker can provide some limited stretching for thinner carpets, it is not a proper substitute. Attempting to stretch a carpet by hand or with homemade tools can also shorten its lifespan. For the best results, you should buy or rent a stretcher. If you do not want to use a stretcher, it is better to hire a professional for the installation.

When installing carpeting on your steps, start at the top and work your way to the bottom. That way, you can easily control the carpet and create a better seal. This approach prevents the carpet from bunching up or creating wrinkles as you work. You’ll have better leverage over it as gravity helps guide it down each step.

In order to avoid long-lasting waves, indents, or sticking, it’s a good idea to wait at least 24 hours after fresh carpet is laid to put weighty furniture on top of it. However, you can begin walking on your new carpet right after it’s installed, and doing so can actually help it adhere to the floor better.

There could be several reasons why your carpet padding has adhered to the floor. Some of the most common reasons include:

  • There was intentional gluing or stapling to the surface.

  • The polyurethane and floor bonded over years of wear.

  • Pet urine, spills, or other substances leaked through the carpet and created a sticky surface.

If the carpeting in the home has not been changed in a long time, clearing off the padding underneath could be difficult. Pet urine can wreak havoc on carpeting and the flooring underneath. If you plan to reinstall carpeting, remember to use proper cleaning techniques for removing pet urine odors to prevent future problems.

If the installer is unwilling to fix the problems and you’re not interested in seeking remediation, you could hide a visually unpleasant floor. This will only work if the floor is structurally sound and the only issue you have is the way it looks. The easiest way to do this is to use large area rugs. You can also paint the floor, although that’s a labor-intensive job if you want to go the DIY route.
