We are an excavating company with over 30 years experience. What kind of work do we do? Anything and everything dirt work related. The most common projects would be house pads, site prep, utilities, and road grading. However, we don't just stop there. We do demolition, water distribution, sewer installs, dump truck services and much more. When you call Canyon Edge Excavating LLC you get the owner bidding your project, and more than likely running the tractor. There are no huge overhead inflations with us. Give us a call!

"Canyon Edge demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and understanding throughout the process, showing genuine flexibility with both my budget and scheduling needs. I wholeheartedly recommend their services and fully intend to hire them again for future projects in the seasons and years ahead."

We are here to help you with all your Handyman projects and Honey-Do Lists you may have.

"I was quoted a good price to install five new interior doors. I was told it would be completed in three days. Randy communicated well and was polite but after five days, Randy had only partially completed three doors. His work was subpar and we parted ways. Finish carpentry is not his strong suit."

As a local business owner customer satisfaction is most important to me. I’m just starting out my experience has come from working at Bright Veiw a commercial company. After working there I noticed that my skills have gone to another lvl and should put them to use. When showing up to any property I take the time talking to customers figuring out exactly how they want their landscape to look. Everyone has their own styles they enjoy so that’s why we walk around to give an estimate. What we offer -hedging/ trimming bushes or small trees - tree cutting depends on size don’t have all safety equipment yet -pruning -weed whacking/ pulling weeds (not a spray tech) -small dirt or rock projects -irrigation(pvc,poly, sprinkler systems, timers) Have any questions please feel free to contact me… When leaving a voicemail say why you are contacting me and leave contact information so I can get back to you. Thanks

Arborists questions, answered by experts

When comparing redwood vs. cedar fences, you’ll typically find a redwood fence costs more to install. The material alone runs from $8 to $20 per linear foot, and labor can cost up to $15 per linear foot, given how complex redwood is to work with. Cedar fences cost between $2 to $4 per linear foot for materials, and labor costs are likely closer to $10 per linear foot. Here are some cedar fence ideas if you’re looking to go the more affordable route.

A cross brace for a fence gate should stretch from the top corner of the gate’s hinge side to the bottom corner of its latch side at a 45-degree angle to the bottom of the gate. This positioning distributes the bulk of the gate’s weight to the base of the post, taking pressure off the top hinge.

The cost of a pergola varies depending on the style you choose. The average price is between $2,100 and $6,400 for materials and installation. On the low end, a standard pergola will cost between $20 and $55 per square foot, while a retractable pergola will cost between $900 and $3,000 to build. If you plan to build the pergola over a pre-existing deck or patio, that will increase the cost.

Consider the height of the plants you plan on using with the trellis, as they will need the right amount of support to grow.

You can install exposed solid wood beams for between $6 and $80 per linear foot, but these beams are often decorative if you’re retrofitting an existing home with them. Laminated veneer lumber beams, more commonly called LVL beams, cost $3 to $12 per linear foot, and while they can’t span nearly as long of a distance as steel I-beams, they can provide more open spaces than traditional wooden beams.
