"I would highly recommend Domar Painting. We had some issues with water on the property and he worked around his schedule so that he could paint my house. The house is in Heber and he had no issues with coming up from the valley to do the job. He matched the existing color and did a fantastic job. You need something painted, call Domar Painting. Thx"

"The crew showed up every morning on time. They patched/drywalled and textured numerous small areas. The texturing was so good, that it is almost impossible to detect where the repairs where made. They also framed, drywalled and textured the kitchen area for recessed lighting installation. They repaired an area where there was a shower leak. They replaced the drywall and textured an area where a closet had been removed. On every part of the project, they exhibited superior workmanship. And at the end of every day, they cleaned up after themselves. Hire them again? Definitely yes!

"Do not accept an estimate from anyone but the owner, Bill. I was promised a job, by the niece, who looked at & talked to me about the work I wanted on my deck. However, when Bill came to the site, after the job was started, he said the job was under estimated. So I got the cheaper job that he wanted to "give" me. The workers were all very nice men and did a good job but just NOT the job I had wanted. Also, instead of being finished mid August, as I was told, it did not get completed until the end of September! Very frustrating..."

"We recently hired Blue J Paint and Stain to paint all of the interior and exteriors doors on our home, including our bifold closet doors from the 1980s. Everything turned out amazing. Paul, Melody and their son are very professional and did an outstanding job. They were prompt, reliable, and the cost was very reasonable. These are some of the nicest people you could ever hope to invite into your your home or business. As an added bonus, we absolutely loved being able to support a local, small businesses. Thank you for giving our home a facelift!!"

"First we had the patios stained.  Aaron arrived promptly with his crew.  The wood looked beautiful.  I plan to add pictures soon.  The wood was completely coated and we feel confident it will last for several years.  Once the patios were completed the house was painted.  We also have a stucco storage building separate from our home.  We asked Arron to pick up two sample colors.  He did not want to pick the color for us but he did advise which color he thought would look best with the trim color we chose.   We appreciated his advise because the job came out beautiful.  We noticed a spot that we thought needed attention.  He returned the next day and even though the issue was not included in the cost he took action with no charge.
Aaron was professional and responsive.

"I recently hired Illuminated Painting to texture and paint the ceilings and walls of my tiny house, and I couldnâ t be more pleased with the results! Lee did an exceptional job from start to finish, with great attention to detail. The texture on the walls looks flawless, and the paint job is smooth and even throughout. They worked efficiently and kept everything clean, leaving me with a beautifully transformed space. If you are looking for a professional and reliable painting company, I highly recommend them!"

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Various kinds of substances and deck preservatives act as protective coatings for wood to prevent rot, which is caused by water getting into the wood and creating cracks and splits. Stains, paints, and sealants are the three best options to protect your wood, but there are also oils, varnishes, and waxes available. You’ll need to reapply sealant at least once per year, and you should inspect your wood deck regularly to look for signs of damage or general wear and tear.

If your biggest concern is making sure your deck doesn’t show dirt, opt for a darker neutral color that blends in well with your surrounding landscape. A rich brown or dark grey are both good options that work with a variety of house colors. A high-quality acrylic paint is easy to clean and maintain, so it might be worth spending the money on.

The best time to paint your deck is when temperatures are neither too cold (below 60 degrees) nor too hot (above 85 degrees). Always paint your deck when there’s no risk of rain. For fast-drying paint like acrylic or latex, ensure your deck can dry for at least four hours. Oil-based paints take longer to dry and may require 48 hours to completely cure.

Provided conditions are ideal, staining an entire deck should take as little as a couple of hours and up to a couple of days to apply and cure. Additional procedures, like sealing a deck or using additional treatments, may extend the project by a few additional days.

The best temperature to paint a pool deck is between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit, because many paints and sealers require temperatures warm enough for the chemical reaction to take place for proper curing. The paint should not be allowed to freeze, and temperatures above 90 degrees can cause the paint to dry too quickly, also preventing the chemical reaction from following through to completion.
