Arizona Color Quest Painting has been a licensed and bonded company since 2001. Roc #170899 I started in the painting, drywall and wall covering industry in 1983 when I was 16 years old. Since then I have worked with some of Arizona's largest painting companies such as Pete King and Ghaster Painting completing many jobs in both commercial and residential. I completed top of my class 3 years interior decorating and design through the Phoenix Painters Union Local 86 and I have worked on projects such as the Wildlife World Zoo building and painting exhibits for over 10 years, Phoenix City Hall, Pointe resorts as well as many residential projects new and repaint. I have a vast knowledge in the construction industry and don't "just throw the paint on". I know what causes the underlying problems and how to CORRECTLY fix it. I was also a Superintendent for Del Webb Coventry and participated in the building of many large housing divisions such as Anthem, Sun City West, Sun City Grand, McDowell Mountain Ranch Stetson Hills and Kensington Estates in Mesa just to name a few. I have a very strong reputation for my integrity and quality and can provide many reliable and VERY satisfied references upon request. I have never had any complaints with ROC and provide a high quality job with attention to detail. If you are looking fo a low ball scab painter then I am not your painter. I believe in quality over quantity and with quality quantitiy will come. For a FREE ESTIMATE please call Duane Osborne at 623-332-8480. Thank you.

**Mention that you found us through Angie's List and get $100 off a job of $1000 or more!** Southwest Coating Solutions has been in business for over 20 years. Excellent history with BBB. Triple AAA rating. Flawless record with the ROC. Same industrial grade materials used on Residential as well as commercial projects. All work is done in house, never subbed out! Mastercard and Visa accepted. We are a dual license holder commercial and residential.

"I am a material manufacturer and supplier. My company is Ultra Concrete Coatings, LLC. I hired Josh Scott as a salesman prior to him owning this company. In February 2017 Josh sold a $1685.40 order of our concrete sealer to his father, Rodney Scott (Concrete Resurfacing Systems) in California. This order was paid for, at the time of shipment, with a credit card. Happy with the product, Josh placed a second order of the exact same sealer in April 2017. This second order was for almost three times the quantity at $4779.41. This time Josh and his father asked for a couple days to pay for it as they were expecting a down payment on a job. We accommodated their request. They received the order but after numerous calls, emails and past due notifications in the mail they wouldn't pay. The excuses not to pay were from not getting paid for the job the sealer was used on to being a victim of tax fraud to other ridiculous excuses. Finally in July 2017 we received a $1000.00 check toward the $4779.41 invoice. Since then they have ignored all requests for payment of the balance. During this entire time I have offered to pick up the sealer and provide a 100% credit upon return. This offer to return the sealer is still available but they continue to ignore us. Also, during Josh's employment with us, he requested and received over $1500.00 in product to give as free samples to potential new customers. Josh never gave any of the product as samples instead using it for jobs he did on the side to supplement his income. I don't normally write reviews for companies but I feel it is important that potential customers of Southwest Coating Solutions know the type of people they may be doing business with. Thank you for your time."

"Arizona City, Arizona - Time frame of my home to be painted was not fulfilled. ACP Painting had to paint both sets of my french doors twice due to poor taping the first time. Hardware on doors were ruined; they did try to clean it up when I pointed it out to them. The molding on the main french doors at the base was ruined but they did cover it up with color type stain. My outside birdbath and decorative angel outside got broken. Inside molding on second set of french doors was ruined; again due to poor taping, along with my rug that they had dripped paint on and then dropped a wet paint brush on. Again, they attempted to remove the paint but couldn't. They dripped paint on my new outside screens that they did their best to remove, and surrounding concrete (again due to poor taping) was ruined. They attempted to match it but it was not the right color. They did return to spot paint missed places on my home that again, I had to point out. They did reimburse me for the damage of the rug, bird bath, and molding and angel. My outside antique lantern, my other bird bath and decorative metal 4ft kokopelli had over-spray all over it which they did remove when again, I pointed it out to them; almost all of the over-spray was removed. They also damaged the coating on my patio that was suppose to be repaired today at 8:45 February 9th and was a no-show with no phone call; they just arrived at 10:45 today. They had to repaint my wrought iron deck railing due to poor 1st time coating. Although they did everything they could to fix their mistakes, I would not recommend them obviously. Total job cost was $3063.46 - $487 in damage."

"I got one of those deals on Angie’s List for roof maintenance. I got a response in less than 24 hrs. Jesus showed up on time. He assessed the problem and showed me pictures. It was pretty much what I expected: a leak around the solar panels. He checked the rest of the roof as well. Jesus fixed the problem area without any additional charges. He was very thorough and professional. I’d recommend him to any of my friends."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Laminate flooring is susceptible to expansion and contraction during temperature fluctuations. In the summer, laminate flooring is more likely to expand, possibly giving it a crowned or warped look. In the winter, when temperatures fall, the flooring can contract, revealing gaps between the boards. This is normal and should be expected when you install laminate flooring.

Yes. You can tile over tile if the old tile is in good shape, but this will also create a thicker floor. As a result, you may have to remove and readjust baseboards and other room trimmings and potentially even raise door heights to work with the higher floors. In most projects, it’s best to remove the old tile before installing a new tile floor.

Few home upgrades add resale value above their installation cost, including terrazzo floors. However, they are still a good option if you like the look. While terrazzo may be expensive, it has a solid return on investment of around 55% to 70%. The durability and low maintenance requirements of terrazzo can be appealing selling points, as many buyers will appreciate flooring that can last 40 to 100 years.

There are a few different types of finishes to choose from for the final step of the project.

Water-based polyurethane sealants emit fewer odors and fumes but dry quickly, which can pose a challenge when trying to get a smooth coat. Oil-based polyurethane sealants let out more odors and fumes into the air (it’s especially important to wear a respirator if you choose this type), but they take longer to dry, which can be more forgiving during the finishing step.

Some may prefer wood oil to polyurethane because rather than creating a layer, it becomes part of the wood. Wood oil takes longer to dry, and is less resistant to wear and tear; however, it creates a natural-looking result by enhancing the grain of the wood.

Dust mites feed on dead skin cells, which means your bed is a haven for them. They also like the warmth and humidity in your mattress because that is the climate required for them to survive. That’s why it’s vital to vacuum your mattress and regularly wash your linens to keep mites from living in your bed.
