"I was very happy with their work! My living room and dining room carpeting was badly soiled . They were the first to respond to my request for cleaning. They were fast, tidy and thorough. The price was affodable -- and I only wish I had contacted them sooner, when the carpet became soiled."

"They are always very responsive and they can get out here within a few days of when you need them.  I am always pleased with the way my carpets come out with them, so that is why I stuck with them.  I have used other companies but I am happy with them.  I have used them five or six times.  They are really prompt; they come in and do the job.  I don’t need it fortunately, because I can move my own furniture and get it out of the way but they move furniture, clean, and put it back for other customers.  I don’t have any complaints with them at all.  They are very competitive in pricing, so I am happy with that. "

Carpet Installation FAQs, answered by experts

There are a couple of color options to consider when installing carpet in high-traffic areas (like entrances and stairways). Medium-toned colors and patterned carpets can work well in these parts of your home because dirt and stains can blend in easily. Dark carpets will also conceal marks and spills, but they show lint and other light-colored debris. Consider a medium brown or tan for your high-traffic areas. Either way, it’s best to avoid paler shades, like white and cream, which get dirty easily.

Yes, you can put carpet directly on concrete. However, you need to take certain precautions to ensure the success of the carpet installation. For example, you’ll need to choose a synthetic carpet pad to provide insulation and cushioning and a vapor barrier to prevent moisture from seeping into the carpet.

The best underlayment for carpet on concrete is a sponge rubber underlayment. This type of carpet padding is durable enough to endure wear and tear on hard concrete yet soft enough to provide comfort underfoot. It also creates insulation from sound and temperature, providing warmth despite the concrete’s cold surface.

Installing carpet on stairs involves a lot more cutting, tucking, tack strips, and time. The shape of your staircase, along with the material and construction of the carpet you’re installing, will also increase the cost. Carpet installation on stairs will cost $400 to $800 in total, but it can go as high as $2,500 for difficult staircases, such as wrap-around, upholstered, or spiral staircases.

In most cases, laminate flooring is better for people with dust or other allergies as laminate is easier to clean. Carpet can trap pollen and other allergens, allowing them to be kicked up into the air again with foot traffic. Consult your flooring specialist about the best types of carpet or laminate flooring to use based on your household member’s needs.
