The owner was very hard to reach and did not return calls or emails in a timely manner at all. When he decided that he was no longer going to be doing residential and was going strictly to commercial properties he helped one of his employees start out on his own picking up a few clients on his own time. The rate that they charged was high in our opinion for the work that was done by both Earth Shapes and the private employee. When they overseeded our lawn the first crew threw the seed and manure by hand so we had swirl patterns in our lawn. When the private employee overseeded the correct way, with a spreader, they let it grow to tall and it fell over and created mold and bare spots underneath. They then dropped us stating that we were the only client they had in the Foothills and they didn't want to drive all the way out here for one client. Our lawn has been an issue the whole time since we moved in because they couldn't figure out how much water it need. One week they would say it need to be watered twice a day, then the next it was getting too much water, then they would go back to it was not getting enough and change it again. For the price we paid up front and the size of the lawn there should have been no problems, but that's all there was. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I sent the owner an email after he had stopped doing the maintenance to see if they were going to do anything to fix the lawn and have yet to receive a response from him. He excavated the problem area and discovered a failure of the initial installation that had been made 18 years ago and was further damaged by tree roots that had invaded the line and caused the failure. He analyzed the situation and immediately searched for the repair components to correct the problem. Since the irrigation line would be in service within 3 days, he returned with the appropriate material and with his assistant, repaired the line. The repaired line was pressure tested within a day and proved completely satisfactory. They make it a point to tell you everything that is wrong and give out a very good estimate of the repair including the items that need replacing (part numbers included). They came very highly recommended by friends and colleagues and I have used them in the past. For the $65 diagnostic on my truck they found that the water pump needed to be replaced. Along with that they recommended changing the thermostat while the water pump was out. They also stated that both radiator hoses needed replacement. The problem comes with the cost of repairs. Parts were quoted at 333.10 with Labor costing 468.77. When I looked up the actual cost of parts at the local parts dealer they came to 151.74. AA overcharged me by $165.25 more than double the cost of each part. After some research this repair should take a professional around 2 hours to complete making labor 3 hours @ 156.26. Although they are very nice and they did not lie about what needed repaired, they way overcharge for their service. I will not use them for the repairs. I highly recommend getting a second opinion before you use this company for anything more than an oil change to ensure you are not price gouged. Has a fully equipped mobile repair facility in his van, including a lift that is used as a repair platform. After introductions all around he started to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem and went about doing the fix. He clearly knows what he's doing and works quickly. Has the tools and equipment he needs to tackle about any problem he's likely to encounter. Very neat and took special care not to spill any fuel or oil. I'm very pleased with his service. His cost was very fair and reasonable and competitive. A real bonus is him coming to me rather than me having to load and transport the equipment to him. I will certainly call on them again if I have a problem with any of my power equipment. Highly recommend them. They are very professional, reliable, and the service is great. I've had several lawn service companies at other homes both in Oregon and other locations, and Rios is by far the best service and most reasonable cost.

Had used them for 2 years and they were good. This year I don't know what happened. Had numerous problems and problems were not corrected, even after they were given numerous tries. Had workers on video destroying plants and pulling them out of flower beds and throwing them in the grass,...

FAQs for lawn tool repair projects in Gadsden, AZ
Lawn mower repairs typically range from $40 to $90, with most people spending right around $60. However, your final total will depend on the type of lawn mower you have, the repair needed, and part availability.
Lawnmowers require seasonal maintenance to continue working correctly. With routine maintenance, you can extend its life to the fullest, which is around 10 years for push mowers and 5-8 years for riding mowers. To keep your lawn mower working correctly, you’ll want to take the following steps at least once a year:
Replace the spark plug
Change the oil
Drain the fuel tank
Clean the mowing deck (ideally, after every mow)
Replace the air filter
Check the carburetor
Sharpen the blades
Fog the engine
Check the tires
Before your lawn mower quits working entirely, it’ll likely give you some signs of wear and tear that indicate a repair is needed. Signs that you might need repairs to your lawn mower include:
Oil leaks
Vibrating engine
Smoking exhaust
Increase in time to mow
Unusual noises
Increase in gas consumption
If you are a skilled DIYer with experience, you can do certain lawn mower repairs yourself. However, if you’ve never worked on a lawn mower before or if your mower needs extensive repairs, it’s best to let a skilled lawn mower technician work on your machine. While it might be a little more expensive due to the cost of labor, nothing beats knowing that the job was done successfully (and often with warranties).
In many cases, it might be cheaper to repair your lawn mower than to replace it, depending on what needs to be repaired. The cost to replace a lawn mower dramatically varies, from $60 for basic models to over $15,000 for the top-of-the line models.
Small repairs like a spark plug replacement can be as little as $20, so replacing the whole lawn mower wouldn’t make much sense. However, repairing a crankshaft could be much more expensive at $500 to $900, so depending on the age of your mower, it might be best to replace it. It’s best to speak with your lawn mower repair technician to determine which option is best for you.
