They replaced the valves. Because they squeezed me in at the end of the day, they came much later in the day and were antsy to leave. I called the next day to tell them one of the new valves was leaking. They said they would be out the next week to finish the work and to look at that dripping valve. If you pull off one of the covers on these hubs (they look like manholes). Since it had been leaking for some time, a lot of the dirt in this hub/manhole turned into mud. When they came to install the valve, I left three of my tools including a small shovel for the mud/dirt, a gravel rake (since they were going to pull that entire box out, they'd need to rake and level gravel), and a trough (b/c the shovel was small). I thought these would be helpful since they only brought one shovel on the first day.
I asked them to install a larger box than I had previously so there would be more room to repair/work on it in the future. They came back on the 7th and removed the old box and replaced it. While the workman were doing that, I took another individual to check the emittors and water flow. After 5pm, they were anxious to leave so I thanked them and told them to go ahead home. I bought a tree the next day and tried to plant it. I found my shovel and trough, but not the gravel rake. It was an older rake and had a wooden ash handle on it. Because of this, it was lightweight. I called to ask them if they found it/had it. It was after hours on a Friday so I left a message and asked them to just return it whenever they could. On Monday morning, I do not get a call back. I call them that evening before close. Any other time I spoke to the young woman in the office, Elaine, who was as pleasant as can be. I ended up speaking to Mr. Jankowski, the owner, and he cut me off when I explained the situation about the rake. He said he needed to call me right back. I did not receive a phone call that day. In the meantime, there was a bill in the mail that came. The bill was $425.32 so I thought to myself, perhaps I should not pay until I get my rake back. I thought they did a great job on the actual work so I mailed a check to them and figured they would call back to get me my rake. I called Dale Jankowski a few days later and he said, "Oh, sorry I forgot to call back. I'll have the guys drop it off on their way home today." I did not hear from them at all and never received my rake.
I went to Home Depot to buy a new rake a few days later which cost me about $26. He didn't end up calling me that day. The following day, I called him back. I told him I cannot wait for my rake anymore. I said why don't you just send me a check for a new rake of $26? At this point, I still would've maintained a business relationship with him as he was reliable, on time, did a great job on the work. He said okay, I'll send you a check right now. He went into great detail about what the check will look like and how to cash it, etc. Almost a week later, I did not have a check in the mail. I called Elaine since she was back from vacation. She said we will take care of this today and mail me a check now. I told her no, I will come down and pick up the check since I had been promised that before. Dale had locked the door and said he didn't feel comfortable with my attitude. I told him all he has to do is slip the check under the door/through the mail slot or return my rake like he first promised. He said he had decided not to pay me. I told him if he did not pay me or return my rake, I would have to go down to the police station to file a report.
After he refused, I went down to the police station and filed a report. The police officer said that Dale assumed responsibility by saying he would pay for a new rake or he would drop off the rake. The police officer said if the rake was that pleasurable to use, then they probably did take it. They are going to speak with Dale and will probably get back to me; however, there is a bit more to this story.
This morning, I went to my mailbox to find a registered piece of mail. Paraphrased, he said, we did not take your rake, but given your aggressive phone calls and demeanor when you came to our place of business we have enclosed a $20 check so you can just buy a new one. Please do not contact us ever again. Any attempt to do so will result in an order of protection being placed against to you. A copy of this letter is being submitted to our attorney.
I am upset that the situation escalated this much as I just wanted my rake back. He made a lot of promises and broke them so I do not trust him. I would have considered doing business with him again, but not after I feel he has belittled me and offended me in this manner. My wife and I couldn't be more satisfied with the work that was has done for us over the last few months. They did an excellent job with our gravel landscaping -- even the neighbor complimented it! They also treated some neglected trees that are now green, happy, and healthy. We appreciate...

"Mario and his crew were very hard working, punctual, professional, and attentive to detail. They had to first remove the old concrete and rebar, spread sand evenly, install the pavers, and put sand in the cracks. Everything looked beautiful when they finished and they cleaned up the area very well. Mario is a very skilled craftsman who oversees the work and also does some of it himself. He has taught his crew how to do the work and requires the same dedication and professionalism from them that he models. He will show you pictures of completed jobs and help you choose the best colors for your house. You will not be disappointed."

FAQs for plant watering projects in Cornville, AZ
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Lawn irrigation is the process of getting water to your lawn, grass and all, for it to grow. There are five main types of lawn irrigation methods:
Manual irrigation puts you in charge of the flow of water. Using a sprinkler head on your hose is best to evenly distribute the water across your entire lawn. This doesn’t take much time but requires you to be physically outside holding the hose.
Above-ground sprinklers attach to your hose and rotate or oscillate around your lawn. Since these are above-ground, they’ll need to be moved when it’s time to mow, and depending on the size of your property, you might need to move it around your yard for full coverage.
In-ground sprinklers are flush with the ground when not in use but pop up above the ground level when it's time to water the lawn. Piping for these sprinklers is all found underground, and there are different types of sprinkler heads for different uses and lawn sizes.
Drip irrigation involves drip lines that are more efficient than sprinklers for more extensive lawns. This involves a lot of digging since they are installed underground, but it makes it easy for you to mow.
Rainwater collection and irrigation uses nature’s precipitation to water your lawn. This option might not be available in every area since semi-reliable rainfall is needed, though the barrels for this system can range from 15 gallons to 10,000 gallons or more.
The cost of a lawn sprinkler system is $2,550 for the average homeowner. However, this price can range from $350 to $5,000 or more, depending on the type of sprinkler system you install, the size of your yard, and the type of sprinkler heads you choose. For example, rotating or oscillating sprinkler heads are more expensive than stationary ones, making the cost for one sprinkler head $2.50 to $30 each. Likewise, a yard that is 1/4 of an acre in size averages a total average price of $2,460; however, a one-acre yard averages a cost of $9,840.
Landscaping costs around $3,500 but varies widely from $200 to $14,000. Factors that play a part in your final landscaping price tag include:
Location
Yard size
Project size
Materials
Land preparation
Type of landscaping
Considering so many factors, it’s not surprising that the overall costs can differ. A typical landscaping project is flower bed installation, which averages between $800 and $3,000. However, landscape lighting installation is a higher-end project, with a price tag of $2,000 to $6,000.
