"This is a great professional. He does quality work for what he charges. He actually helped us out during the Covid when my entire crew was quarantined. This is a school district and he only had 24 hours to to work with. Mark was able to find people and was able to get the job done. Excellent experience and I highly recommend."

She did not even carry a toilet brush with her. She forgot to area rugs to vacuum did not scour, sinks, etc.. I had them come back after they left to vacuum with my vacuum, the . two area rugs that she missed."

Buffing and Polishing questions, answered by experts

The time required for stone restoration or polishing can range from a few hours to several days. Most standard jobs are completed in 4-8 hours. The final duration depends on factors like the size of the area, the condition of the stone, and accessibility. Larger areas or surfaces with heavy damage may require multiple sessions to complete.

A water-based, low- or no-VOC sealer is typically a good choice for marble countertops. Choose a sealant that is certified safe for contact with food when applying to kitchen countertops. For high-traffic areas, look for formulas that have heat-resistant and acid-resistant features. While there are economical and convenient spray-on sealers, they don’t coat the surface as effectively as the ones you apply with a pad or brush.

Use pH-neutral cleaners specifically designed for stone surfaces to clean granite or marble. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners that can damage the sealant or the stone itself. Regular re-sealing helps protect the surface from stains and damage.

Most marble floors last at least 25 years, and they can last forever with proper care and maintenance. As a natural stone product, they have the edge when it comes to lasting longer than synthetic or softer materials, but they can become damaged. Grit and dirt that get ground into the surface will wear away the layers of stone over time, so cleaning and routine maintenance are necessary. In particular, regular sweeping and annual polishing and sealing will keep them looking beautiful and prevent wear and damage.

Standing water can lead to surface discoloration if your granite countertops are improperly sealed. However, it’s possible to remove hard water stains with a baking soda paste. Take more care with acidic liquids, such as fruit juice or red wine, which can leave more permanent stains. That’s why it’s so important to reseal these surfaces regularly.
