"I have hired Faith for multiple projects—power washing, staining, rodent holes patched and brush removal. Each time, she exceeded my expectations. Her attention to detail is very evident in the quality of work that she consistently delivers no matter what the task is. Plus, she is super easy to work with and brings professional insight to each job. Faith is a top notch worker and someone that I highly recommend."

"Julian and his awesome team did an extraordinary job fixing my deck and building a retention wall that also required leveling the ground. My composite deck had been incorrectly installed, and Raul was able to devise a system to straighten warped boards and hide holes where nails had been. The deck now looks fantastic - and is solid. I had 3 other quotes that were much higher and didn't have a clear solution. (Raul is an exceptional problem-solver.) Excellent customer service, on-time, and went the extra mile. Raul even powerwashed our deck and driveway as a final touch. Julian will be our go-to for all future home improvements."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

The hydroseed mix—known as a slurry—helps grass seed take root in many ways. Water combines with the mulch, allowing the grass seed to stay moist while grounded in the soil. The extra fertilizer then provides the boost the seed needs to flourish. In just a few weeks, you'll be ready to break out the lawnmower again.

If possible, you should prioritize pulling weeds up by hand. However, be sure not to use your bare hands, as many weeds are sharp or otherwise irritating when they come in contact with skin. Always don thick, protective gardening gloves to protect your hands when you pull up weeds.

Landscaping fabric can only help to prevent weed growth in the short term. It's not an ideal long-term solution because dirt will eventually make its way on top of it, causing weeds to sprout. These fabrics can also leave microplastics in the environment for many, many years, so pulling weeds using one of the methods in this guide as soon as you see them is a better long-term prevention strategy.

Professionals employ protective measures such as covering or temporarily relocating plants, minimizing chemical usage, and carefully planning construction routes to avoid damage. These precautions preserve the integrity and appearance of the landscaping during projects.

Mowing a lawn will, unfortunately, not get rid of clover, and it may even encourage it to flourish. Let your lawn grow to a healthy height of over 3 inches and then set your mower blades no lower than this level. Higher grass will cut out the light that clover loves and discourage it from spreading.
