"600sqft slab, 28sqft driveway and small sidewalk. Overall very satisfied with work performed. Good communication, Harmon always answered phone or returned calls. Prompt, after job was started Harmon was on site every day weather permitted work. Cleanup, Harmon did an excellent job keeping site clean and left it in good condition at job end. By far the best price, 25% less expensive than 4 other estimates. End result (in my opinion) is equal or superior to what I would have recieved from other more expensive contractors."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Polished concrete gets its glass-like finish from several rounds of polishing, using increasingly finer grit diamond grinding pads. The concrete’s hardness will determine which grits you need to get your desired finish. The densifier and sealer also contribute to the look of the final floor, so either talk to a concrete pro (or hire one) to achieve the right concrete floor finish.

The benefits of epoxy floor coating include increased durability for concrete surfaces in the face of harsh chemicals, easy cleaning and maintenance, improved efficiency for underfloor heating, and an improved aesthetic over the dull surface of standard concrete floors.

Resurfacing a garage floor takes about eight hours on average, with another couple hours over three days to do the epoxy. Epoxy goes on in three coats, with each coat taking 24 hours to dry and cure. You’ll need to keep foot and vehicle traffic off of your garage floor for around 4 days in total when replacing your garage floor, so be sure to plan ahead before you start. This is a great time to organize your garage since you’ll need to move everything out to apply the epoxy.

Epoxy coatings for concrete basement or garage floors are popular. These two-part resinous coatings are waterproof and highly durable, making them an ideal choice for high-traffic spaces or areas where spills are likely. However, epoxy flooring costs more to apply than concrete stains and doesn't produce a natural-looking finish.

The cost for concrete coating services ranges from $3 to $15 per square foot. The final price is contingent on several factors, including the extent of surface preparation needed, the type of coating used, the total area being covered, and labor.
