"Worst experience of dealing with a contractor. I started to build a pole barn myself several months back and realized I wasn't good at it and I needed to hire an professional, details of the job were simple fix my errors and install the metal. The so called professional I hired is /was Morgan (Owner) with MLB buildings. Morgan was one of 3 contractors that provided a bid. The projected timeframe that was given was 3 days and the payment structure was broken in to 3 payments. Within the 1st week he had already received 1st and 2nd payments with one wall of metal up and supposedly framing fixed. Going into two weeks he is having issues and just installing metal without the roof trusses being fixed as we discussed. Metal had to be removed, metal not cut correctly all costing me money. I really didn't get upset until he asked if he could leave for a week to go make extra money because he is now in the negative after being on my job 2 weeks. Reluctantly, I felt sorry for the guy , but asked a date of his return. Now that he has been paid almost all the money he has pushed me off another two weeks and now not answering my calls. The metal install was not the best and yet I was still willing to work with the guy. I will post pictures soon of 20 ft walls of metal installed with screws on top and bottom and none in the middle, garage door wood caps just thrown up not secure, gaps at corners, around windows, or anywhere there is a cut has a gap of 1" or bigger, some panels not straight. All the way around not only a bad job, but didn't even complete the bad job. The guys that were working with him would quit due to not getting paid. My question is if he is not paying his guys that worked at my job where did the money go that I paid him? Also, as a side note all materials were purchased by me and he was getting paid thousands of dollars for labor only on a 3 day job that is now a month into it with be being left with a big mess to fix. While unplugging your garbage disposal and plugging it back in may help, most units have an actual reset button, a bright red switch found on the underside of your unit. If your garbage disposal needs resetting, you may notice this button sticking out about a quarter of an inch from the surface of the unit, with which it’s usually flush. Simply depress this reset button to reset the unit, and then test to ensure it’s working about 10 minutes later.

Your garbage disposal is not draining because it might have a clog due to food waste, a foreign object, grease, oil, fat, or it may have a broken motor. When water doesn't flush out of the disposal, that's a key sign that your disposal has a clog or needs repair. 

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

If your garbage disposal powers up and you can hear it hum, but the arms inside aren’t moving, the problem might be a stubborn clog, a build-up of grease, or a jam of the impeller plate. To troubleshoot these, ensure your unit is off and disconnected from its power source before checking inside the drain or attempting to manually rotate the impeller arms or plate from the underside of the unit. A hex wrench can help.

Garbage disposals fit the drains of nearly every sink out there due to universal drain hole sizes of 3 1/2 to 4 inches, but the same isn’t true for the housing underneath the sink. You need plenty of room to fit a garbage disposal under there, so measure the space ahead of time and use those dimensions when shopping for a new model. If you’re replacing an existing model, get one in that size.
