"Outstanding repair that saved me thousands of dollars. Rather than remove and replaced, I was pleasantly surprised that the existing broken slab could be elevated back up to the original position, then a simple resurfacing could then be done. My issue was rain water that I have now mitigated. The cool thing was that a brick retaining wall sitting on top of the broken slab also elevate to its original position, Simple mortar work will make it all perfect. These guys are legit. Hats off to Levi Woods who came out to see the need, then provide some education of the AFS process and ultimately an estimate, as well as Matthew Martin and Parris Houchins who did the repair. Outstanding young men, all. I will ask them to return for a couple smaller driveway slab repairs. Most strongly recommended! Dave O."

"After a price was agreed upon; the work was done at the time he said he would do it. He was vey courteous during the entire process. When the job was completed it looked very professional. I would recommend him for ant type of concrete work I would need in the future."

"Mr. Godsey way very knowledgeable, very friendly and respectful. He repaired and reinstalled the nightshade and sun screen combo on our motorhome. He reinstalled it but it needed to be moved over a couple of inches.. without hesitation he took the shade back down and moved it where I wanted it. Removing paint from brick can have both aesthetic and practical value. Some people prefer the timeless look of bare brick, making it worthwhile to remove old paint layers. Paint also shows wear faster than naked brick. This means that once you paint a brick surface, you’ll have to keep painting it to maintain a clean look. A paint job is also harder to undo on brick because of its porous nature. Once you paint it, it’s hard to go back without some serious power washing—another added cost.

Some older brick material is extremely hard, making it tough to create a hole. Rather than using a typical wood drill bit, always use a masonry drill bit when drilling into brick. For extremely hard brick, using a power drill with a hammer function may give you better results. The drill bit will heat up as it goes into the extremely hard brick, so you may need to stop after a few minutes and allow the bit to cool before starting to drill again.

Stone walls require a more robust foundation, which costs more to install.
