"Sentri Homes provided the most professional flooring service I’ve ever had. The LVP installation turned out absolutely beautiful, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was completed without sacrificing quality. The crew was fast, accurate, and extremely detail-oriented from start to finish. Everything was installed cleanly, precisely, and with real craftsmanship. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and far beyond what I expected. I would absolutely recommend Sentri Homes to anyone needing flooring installed."

"Mr. Klein come to my home to give me and estimate on painting the outside of my house and give me and estimate on a new shingle roof.  I was not looking to put a metal roof on but he assured the quality of the metal roof compared to the quality and legivity of a shingled roof. Turns out I took his word and went with the metal roof.. that in which i am much more satisfied with compared to the look of how my home looked prior to Mr. Klein and his workers I am very pleased. After signing the initial contract with Mr. Klein he ensured me that him and his crew would get started on it as soon as they could weather permitting.  Within just a couple of days they started and finished my roof and the painting. I was very satisfied with the way him and his workers conducted themselves. The job was well laid out and very tidy considering that it was a roof and paint job. I will definately call him back for my next project."

"Michael Riley holds his crew to a higher standard than any other roofing/construction company I have worked with over the last 3 years. The overall pricing is a little higher than what I have paid to previous companies but I never have to worry about the job being done properly.
I use Veterans on all of my insurance/roof work.  He uses the same software that is used by the claims agents.  There have been several instances where a claims adjuster has under bid the cost for the repairs and Michael has been able to help us to ensure that the insurance companies have paid every dime that they were responsible for paying.

Custom Home Builders questions, answered by experts

Buying a house is easier than building one from scratch. Buying an existing home is almost always faster, even if you need to make renovations once you move in. When you hire the right team to build a home, they will simplify the design and build phases so that there is little guesswork throughout the process, but building new construction will almost always take longer than buying an existing home.

Yes, a home builder or contractor should have the proper licensing and insurance. Licensing requirements vary by state and municipality, but most states mandate that a builder holds at least a general contractor’s license. For specialized work such as plumbing, electrical, roofing, or sewage systems, individual licenses may be required, in which case the builder may subcontract the work. You can use Angi’s state licensing tool to review your local guidelines and confirm a builder's credentials. As you browse professionals, you can also look for the “Angi Certified” badge. This indicates the business meets our certification standards, which include passing a criminal background check, holding applicable state and local licenses, and maintaining an average rating of 3.0 or better.

The longest part of building a custom home is the design phase. It takes multiple professionals and a ton of work to bring your vision for your dream home to life while sticking to a homebuilding budget and also ensuring everything is built to code. Expect the design phase for a custom home build to take six months to a year.

A construction manager is particularly useful in the case of a large-scale build with custom design elements, so it’s usually worth it to hire one. They can help manage your budget, maintain quality control, oversee timelines, and navigate unexpected hurdles. While construction managers are pricey, they can actually save money in the long run by identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring the project stays within budget.

The average build timeline for a home is between six and 12 months, with timelines pushing toward the upper end of that range if you’re creating a custom design or need a lot of land preparation before getting started. Hiring a general contractor or a custom homebuilder will help speed up the process, as you’ll see fewer delays between different parts of the build process getting done.
