"They arrived exactly on time and got straight to work. It was amazing how much they accomplished in 1 afternoon. I asked for a deep cleaning and was so happy I've now hired them to return regularly. Pleasant, efficient and great value."

"I was so pleased with Peaches'N Clean. They responded quickly to all of the messages I sent them asking questions. Once I booked, they made sure I understood the pricing and provided me with a fair quote. The day of they showed up right on time and went straight to work vacuuming and then steam cleaning the carpets. Once done, they showed me several stains they were unable to remove (an old coffee stain and a few other small marks), but HOLY COW. My carpets are white and have been subjected to so much abuse from two kids and a dog and they looked nearly brand new! I had used another carpet cleaning service in the past and I have to say Peaches'N Clean did a much better job of removing the stains and the carpets dried much faster (within five hours). With the other company, I had to wait 12 hours before they were dry even though they assured me they would be dry within 4. I absolutely will be booking Peaches'N Clean again in another six months."

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

Yes, a magic eraser can remove candle wax. You can use it to remove all the candle wax from start to finish. Another option is to remove all large clumps with a dull knife and then pull out your magic eraser to finish the job. However, while the results can be impressive, a magic eraser shouldn’t be used on all surfaces since it can potentially damage them. If you try this method, test a small, hidden spot first and proceed cautiously.

Steam mops can be a better option than traditional mops because the steam can lift stubborn dirt from floors without using chemicals, and it also kills bacteria and dust mites. However, steam mops have drawbacks: they are more expensive, require an electrical outlet, and are not suitable for all flooring types, such as laminate or hardwood, which can be damaged by the steam.

Regular mopping can also sanitize floors effectively when done with the right cleaning products and techniques, though it may require more effort. The main advantage of a traditional mop is its versatility, as it can be used on any type of flooring. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your floor type, budget, and cleaning preferences.

Yes, options like MDF or polyurethane require less upkeep while maintaining style.

Yes, you can mop hardwood floors with a damp flat or string mop as long as it is not soaking wet. Always avoid leaving standing water or fully soaking your hardwood floors, even if they are properly finished. A slightly wet mop, with or without cleaning solutions, will not damage the wood.

No, you cannot use bleach on Dekton. Avoid harsh chemicals when cleaning and treating Dekton. Such chemicals are unnecessary since Dekton is highly stain-resistant and nonporous. Instead, use a mild solution of water and soap or vinegar when cleaning your Dekton countertops and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth.
