It was started in 1999 by Dothan resident, Jim Martin as a cardboard recycling company and since 2004 has been a full-service waste and recycling company. Martin Environmental has expanded its service area to include all of southeastern Alabama and parts of southwest Georgia and the Florida panhandle.
