"Howie and Anthony did a great job cleaning my carpet and bar stools. They were very professional and punctual. They explained the process and updated me periodically throughout the cleaning. This is the second time we have used Heaven’s Best and both times the technicians have been outstanding. We will definitely call Heaven‘s Best again."

"Good folks. They sold me on the service plan and I was VERY skeptical, but with the heat in Alabama I decided it was worth it to have someone consistently checking on my AC unit. The first check-up visit (that cost me nothing after buying the service plan initially) was 100% worth it as the technician spent time cleaning both inside and outside units, topping me off with freon and getting us ready for the hot season AND he will be back later this year as the weather shifts from hot to cold to make sure our heat is in top shape. I would recommend these guys!"

"Very personable individuals. They answer their phones and are available for questions as needed. I got both gutter cleaning and windows on upper level. I gave a 4.5 because the windows were somewhat streaked and not cleaned completely. This is most likely from working in direct sunlight. However that is the only reason I gave them a 4.5 rather than a 5 star rating."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, moss can be dangerous for your roof if left in place to grow without treatment. The moss soaks up and holds moisture. Having a constantly damp roof could lead to problems with rot for the parts of the roof that consist of wood. Additionally, a patch of thick moss may draw insects and birds, which could damage the roof. Thick moss could block the roof’s drainage system. Water then may back up after a rainstorm and cause further damage that could eventually lead to roof repair expenses or the cost of roof replacement.

The best time of year for roof cleaning depends on your local climate, but generally, late spring, summer, or early autumn are ideal. Plan to clean your roof on a day with dry weather and moderate temperatures.

Late spring and early summer are excellent for cleaning off grime accumulated after a snowy winter or wet spring. Summer often provides the necessary dry conditions, though in very hot climates, late spring may be more comfortable. Alternatively, cleaning in late autumn can clear away debris like leaves and branches before winter.

Avoid cleaning your roof when it is cold enough for water to freeze, as this can cause dangerous ice buildup.

Leaving a significant amount of snow on your roof can be risky. Most roofs are designed to handle about 20 pounds per square foot of snow, but exceeding this limit can lead to a roof collapse. A collapse can cause severe damage to your home and belongings and poses a physical danger to anyone inside. Furthermore, heavy snow accumulation increases the risk of ice dams, which can cause leaks and water damage to your roof, attic, and interior walls.

While it is possible to remove snow from your roof without a professional, we don’t recommend it. Accessing your roof can be a dangerous task; pair that with slippery ice and snow that can be heavy to move, and you have a very risky problem on your hands. This dangerous situation becomes more high-risk when there’s a snowstorm or your roof has a steep pitch. To ensure that everyone stays safe, be sure to call a roof snow removal specialist to complete this job with the proper tools and equipment.

It is possible to wash your own roof, but we don’t recommend it. First, getting up on any roof is dangerous without proper safety equipment, especially if wetting a metal roof and making the surface slick. Additionally, it’s easy to damage your roof or force water between roof seams if you use a power washer, which can lead to property damage. Hiring a professional roof cleaner will save you time, keep you safe, and ensure that your roof looks new again without damaging it in the process. Plus, roof cleaning is a relatively affordable home improvement project.
