"I am still in the early stages of my project but I could not wait a second longer to brag on the wonderful, Jessica. From the moment we were on our call I was poured into and felt seen, heard & instantly connected to Jessica. Her passion and dedication for her work were quickly apparent and even though we’d only spoken for minutes, it felt like I’d known for years. Her interest and excitement for my project was a breath of fresh air. All of this is new to me and seeking the right help has not been the easiest process, but with Jessica, things felt right. We didn’t need to sleep on it or hold off because she made us feel sure. Despite having a smaller budget, Jessica was adamant about respecting that budget and making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Her reassurance was comforting and her kindness was unmatched. I feel honored to have such an amazing human help turn our new house into a home. I am happy. I am excited and I am ready. Thank you, Jessica. Let’s do this! <3"

"Amazingly well. One of my light fixtures showed water damage and Eric discovered I had a roofing problem. He gave me the name of a roofing company who came out and expertly fixed the problem within 2 days. Eric and his crew were here yesterday promptly at 8:00 a.m. and they efficiently worked through my "to do" list. One thing not originally on the list was to replace a switch in my cooktop (the main burner hasn't worked for over 2 years and I recently got a replacement part from a local supply store). I hesitated asking them to even look at this, because it wasn't in the original estimate, and I didn't know whether they would even want to fix an appliance. But they were game to try and an hour later, my main cooktop burner was operational again! They really had to problem solve, because the new switch didn't fit exactly right, but they worked out a great solution. More importantly, they charged me a nominal amount for all their effort. I really couldn't be happier with Eric and his team. It is so hard these days to find prompt, professional knowledgeable people. I feel like I hit the lottery with this company. I will definitely hire them again and I will give them an enthusiastic endorsement anytime someone asks if I "know of a good electrician.""

"We liked our interior design plan that we received , but it just took a long time to get the final plan.  She had told us in the beginning that she had gotten a big response to that deal.

Lighting questions, answered by experts

No, you should not leave LED Christmas lights up all year. While the LED lights themselves are very durable, their wiring and casings can be as vulnerable as any Christmas lights. They’re subject to drying out, experiencing cold or sun damage that causes them to crack, and even damage caused by gnawing pests. (The same is true of incandescents.) If you want your lights to last the years that they’re rated for, bring them inside after Christmas is over.

Simple repairs like replacing bulbs can be DIY projects, but professionals should handle significant electrical repairs to ensure safety and compliance with electrical standards.

The average cost to install outdoor or landscape lighting is around $4,000, with most projects ranging from $2,000 to $6,000. The total cost can vary widely depending on several factors, including the number of fixtures, design complexity, and the type and quality of the lights used, such as wall sconces, pathway lights, or lamp posts. Other factors that influence the price are the square footage of the area being lit, the amount of electrical work needed, any required excavation or trenching, and local permitting costs. For specific types, you might pay around $100 for pathway or string lighting and up to $700 for lamp post lighting.

It’s fair to be concerned about handling pool lights or wiring in a pool filled with water. But fortunately, pool lights and swimming pools are designed to make it easy and safe to replace the lights without needing to drain the water. Instead, you can turn off the electricity to the pool as a safety precaution, unscrew the pool fixture, pull it up and out to the side of the pool, then change the bulb.

The cost to repair outdoor lighting typically ranges from $100 to $400. The final price depends on the severity of the damage, the specific issue, the type of lighting system, and the parts needed. Some repairs are priced per fixture, averaging $100 to $300, and there may be additional fees if the lighting is difficult to access.
