"We had a tree to remove in a tricky spot near high intensity power lines. Their service was professional and we had no issues whatsoever. They took the tree down, cleared the debris and swept the lawn clean. So professional. We hope to have them back soon to remove at least two more trees. We recommend them to anyone needing tree work."

"Isbell Services did such a great job installing my new roof and vinyl siding. The work was done in a very timely and professional manner with "doing the job right" at the top of their list. The company provided me with the best price, the workmanship was of the highest quality, and most importantly they always stand behind their work. I’ve been doing tree and skid steer work for about 20 years, customer satisfaction is my goal. The job is not complete until you, the customer, are happy. I am a perfectionist, I like and want stuff done right! I am willing to travel almost anywhere within the state. I am highly efficient in a skid steer and working out of a bucket truck..

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Hiring an arborist or tree surgeon is usually more expensive than a standard tree company, but it is often worth the investment. Arborists have education and certifications that standard companies typically lack, leading to a more professional, expert-level service. Their expertise is particularly valuable for diseased or infested trees, as they can ensure safer removal and help prevent the issue from spreading. Additionally, arborists may be necessary for work near power lines, as uncertified companies are often not permitted to service these trees. If your goal is to preserve the health of your trees, an arborist is the best choice. Their services, such as stump grinding, are also performed with greater expertise to ensure a safe depth that won't cause your lawn to collapse over time.

There are a few differences between tree guying and tree staking. Tree guying requires anchor stakes that are shorter and stronger than regular stakes and are driven deeper into the ground at an angle away from the tree. Tree staking uses longer stakes that are set parallel to the tree and are used for smaller trees. Consult a local tree professional to determine which method is best for your tree.

Steer clear of the area and contact your utility company immediately. It will have a website portal and/or a phone number to report downed trees and electrical issues. If the tree appears to be on public land, you may want to call your local government and report the issue there, too.

Many consider the Fraser fir to be the most popular type of Christmas tree, but which type of tree sells out near you can depend on region and decorating trends that year. For example, the Leyland cypress is especially popular in the Southeast, according to the National Christmas Tree Association.

Tree roots are hearty and complex systems, so they don’t die immediately after the rest of the tree is removed. If you leave the root system in place, it takes anywhere from two to seven years for it to run out of nutrients. It is worth noting, however, that the roots stop growing and expanding after cutting down the rest of the tree.
