"Team was on time, very professional, and cleaned up before leaving. Many thanks to team Justin Williams, Vince Davis, Christian Herrin, and Jalen Jackson for a job well done. We have had AFS do foundation work and waterproofing on 2 houses. We would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work."

"My wife and I were not happy with having to take on this project.  After all, who wants to spend a bunch of money on their crawlspace?  However, we do like knowing the air we are breathing is free of radon and mold and that our foundation and crawl space area will be kept dry and solid for years to come.

I want to say right away that we were very pleased with how this project went under Frontier Basements' oversight.  This project started with the work of Aaron W. and his assessment of our crawl space.  He took me under the house and showed me all the issues we needed to address.  He was thorough in his explanation and his presentation of all the options for how to address our issues.  He made us feel confident in their abilities to correct our issues right from the start.

The project went great.  Matt T. was the crew leader and he and his team were professional and great to work with.  They completed the project on schedule and checked in with me for my input on it as the project progressed.  The initial plan for the relocation of the crawlspace entrance didn't end up looking great when they actually started all the cutting so Matt developed a new entrance plan on the fly for my approval.  Matt took the problem as an opportunity to develop a creative solution and we were very pleased with the outcome.

A rep from Frontier Basements contacted me multiple times throughout the week to make sure I was happy with the team's work and to check if I had any concerns.  I was impressed with their customer service.

The only thing I wasn't initially happy with was how they did the floor joists portion of the project, but after hearing my concerns they sent Matt back out with a team to correct the issue to our liking.  Their responsiveness to our concerns was appreciated.

In hindsight, the only thing I would do different on this project would have been to request that some of the rough grading under the house be smoothed out more.  (It may have been an option they offered and we missed.)  We have some un-level places in the crawlspace area that aren't easily seen now that the crawl space area is completely sealed and it can hurt to hit them with your knees.

They literally make the crawlspace area of your home "clean space".  Our radon has been tested and is no longer an issue.  We have already begun to store bins of clothing down there.  I've even joked with my wife about putting a TV down there for my boys and I to have a true "man cave".

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Service was excellent. Work was done in a timely manner. Took 5 days for this big job and they always cleaned up after themselves everyday. Crew was very knowledgeable and professional. Went out of their way to be sure I was satisfied with their work. My home is now safe and properly supported. They worked with me on financing and budgeting and I will be hiring them again to do the 2nd portion of my foundation repair (replacing an outer band and increasing straightness of floors) once I pay this off or at least down some. But for now I know my house is safe and my floors are sturdy. I will leave another review once I have more work done. Greg McBride was great. Highly recommend this company. Look forward to future business. Will update!"

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

The polyurethane used for polyjacking will expand and cure in 15 to 30 minutes. After that point, your slab will be safe to walk on and even drive on in the case of a sidewalk or concrete driveway. Double-check with your concrete lifting specialist to confirm a curing timeline, as products can differ.

Most houses are expected to settle over time, but foundation sinking of more than a few inches or uneven sinking of more than an inch for every 20 feet is cause for concern. Any significant or uneven sinking should be assessed by a professional to determine the cause and perform any necessary repairs.

The average cost for mudjacking is around $1,200, though prices can range from $300 to $3,400. On a per-square-foot basis, you can expect to pay between $3 and $8, with an average of about $5 per square foot. The final cost depends on several factors, including the square footage of the concrete, the type of slab, its accessibility, whether it is load-bearing, and the type of material used to lift it. Generally, lifting a driveway, small patio, or sidewalk is less expensive than lifting a slab foundation or garage floor.

Generally speaking, push piers—or steel piers—are the best option for underpinning, as they reach down to solid bedrock to find support for your foundation rather than relying on soil, which could be subject to the same issues as the soil directly below your foundation. However, the best underpinning method for your home depends on your location, how far down the bedrock is, and the type of soil in your area. Helical piers are usually the best option for sandy soil or in areas where the bedrock is too deep to use steel piers.

Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.
