She has a breath of knowledge that allows her to accommodate my tastes, but also ensure that the overall design is in sync with the design and location of my home.  She has  a very diplomatic way of suggesting when I'm going astray with my choices and in every case where she has told me "Trust Me"  I have been delighted ! Did a good job, providing 2 layouts to choose from.  Completed design and sent email and snail mail paint and furniture samples in a little over a month from starting the process.  The previous estimate was 2-3 weeks so it wasn't so late.  My only disappointment was the design was not for the complete room.  They told me that the missing area was considered an entry way or hallway and could be designed for an additional fee.  I did not want to pay an additional and accepted their explanation, but on second thought, in my opinion, it isn't really separate.  There is a large archway one-third of the way into the room, but I have never considered it as two separate rooms and no one visiting my home has ever mentioned it.  Every room has an entrance.  I wouldn't call the way to get into a room as a separate room. Other than that, I would say a got a great deal overall.

"If you wouldâ ve stepped inside my townhome prior to Velvet Muse, you wouldâ ve thought I had just moved in (but the truth is Iâ ve lived here for little over 2 years). The interior was bland and quite the eye sore. I had ideas in my head and loved things that I would see while scrolling through Pinterest. But my interior decorating is a bit like my wardrobe- fashionably insensitive but Iâ m too cool to care. Velvet Muse took a blank canvas and turned it in to something that Iâ m proud of. I no longer have the lingering thought in the back of my head of â what will they think of my decorâ when friends come to visit. She took my vision and brought it to life. She had a lot of ideas and suggestions of her own and I loved that. She is extremely personable and patient with someone like myself, who is extremely indecisive 99.9% of the time.
